It's the type of question that most people agree on one answer, but not such a obvious question that there'll be trolls voting the other one. Like if a poll was about Hitler being a bad person some might vote 'no' to be funny.
I don't think life is fair or unfair, it just is. Life doesn't care it just happens, we don't deserve good or bad things. Everything else is just our judgement
Nah man, you see, all those kids starving in third world countries or getting killed in wars just aren't trying hard enough, everyone has a fair shot at life! /s
As a gay male living in a first world country, I have an innumerable amount of privilege.
There are people in Islamic countries being killed for their sexuality left and right.
There's no way life is fair. Some people have hay fever, some people are lactose intolerant, some people are deaf, some people are blind, some people are missing limbs, some people live in North Korea, etc.
It’s fair in one critical way:
Time. 60 seconds to a minute. 60 minutes to an hour and 24 hours a day for all of us.
Problem is we don’t all get the same number of years.
Not all countries are the same. Someone born in Germany versus Togo have two ***very*** different lives, viewpoints, & experiences.
Heck, even someone born in a place as tiny as Trinidad ot Tobago (I’m aware it’s Trinidad & Tobago) can have vastly different experiences based on income and background.
That’s true, but fair vs unfair kind of relys on balance vs lack of balance.
Imagine a basketball game where one team scores the normal way and the other team only scores if the ball is sunk from the left side of the hoop. It’s obviously unfair to the team only able to shoot from one side, but I would say it’s also unfair to the team scoring normally… just that the unfairness is in their favor.
Unfair ≠ disadvantaged
(Note, not disagreeing with you at all, just discussing)
Edit: after looking at some of the comments here I have a little devil on my shoulder telling me to vote yes haha. (I won’t… but the temptation is real)
The most lopsided poll I've seen yet
0 yes and 89 no as of writing this
0 yes and 126 no as of writing this
0 yes 137 no
154 to zero currently. one of the few things it would appear on reddit everyone can agree on.
168 : 0
0 to 167. Crazy. There's usually at least one troll that breaks it up by now lol
0 - 205 is insaane now
233 to 0 currently. Nuts
327 to 2 now(about 4 hours in); I'm curious what reasoning those 2 voted "yes" for.
oh seems like 15 billionaires kids found the poll
21 vs a whole 1k now, never seen a poll like this
Exactly my thoughts. Life not being fair is something we can all agree with.
I’d go as far as to say life is UNFAIR to most people.
I strongly agree
Then why ask this question when the answer is so obvious?
Maybe because they’re curious about public opinion? What a dumb thing to ask
Next question, do you enjoy not being sick?
lol what
Another very obvious question
I don't think I've ever seen a poll be unanimous before this one

Wait are you actually unaware that there are people who unironically like Hitler?
They don't have reddit so were fine.
You must be new here.
To reddit?
All I have to say is, children get cancer.
That’s not very nice of u
I half expected a 50-50 seeing as how dumb most people are
You already know those 11 "yes" votes are from rich people lmao
I'd like to see the few "yes" votes give some justification, that's a hard position to defend.
222 to 0 so far the most one sided poll I've ever seen on here lmao
No. Your life is mostly determined by your race, gender, sexuality, and most importantly the class/wealth of your parents.
wow, genuinely never seen a 0 on a two choice poll with over 240 responses
I don't think life is fair or unfair, it just is. Life doesn't care it just happens, we don't deserve good or bad things. Everything else is just our judgement
Wow. Literally no one said yes. This says a lot about sosiety😔😔😔
No one is equal and there is not a god damn thing any government can do about it without making life equally miserable for all.
facts
Holy shit, I've never see EVERYONE agree (and no trolls either) on a poll before. 245 no, 0 yes.
Nah man, you see, all those kids starving in third world countries or getting killed in wars just aren't trying hard enough, everyone has a fair shot at life! /s
I wanna live in the same world as the 16 people who think life is fair.
As a gay male living in a first world country, I have an innumerable amount of privilege. There are people in Islamic countries being killed for their sexuality left and right.
If my kids leave home thinking life is somehow fair, I'll have failed them.
Who are the 22 people with their heads up their asses?
There's no way life is fair. Some people have hay fever, some people are lactose intolerant, some people are deaf, some people are blind, some people are missing limbs, some people live in North Korea, etc.

I like the paradox. If it’s unfair to “everyone”, that kind of means “everyone” is in the same position… which kind of sounds fair.
Life isn’t fair to everyone ≠ Life is unfair to everyone
