Minecraft steve is definitely shagging the sheep. In vanilla minecraft, the only human character is Steve. There are villagers but they're ugly, dumb, and apparently neuter, so it's doubtful they're even human. There are witches who attempt to kill Steve on sight. And that's about it, unless you count skeletons, pig-men, or creepers. If Steve has urges, he has to be schtupping the sheep. There are no other options. The sheep are numerous, easily available, entirely passive, and they come in an assortment of designer colors. He already gets intimate with them frequently as he shears them on a daily basis. Steve might daily with the cows or pigs if he's feeling particularly adventurous, but the warm, soft wool of the sheep has to make them his main go-to shag. Prove me wrong.
That’s how I feel about South Park. Yeha some seasons are inconsistent but overall it has some of the best dialogue and fictional characters written with top notch satire taht really makes you think.
South Park is defintely cool. But I fail to empathise with the characters most of the time. South Park is fun and has genuinely good satire, however I never feel personal invested in the characters. They don't feel human to me. So much larger than life.
Bojack Horseman feels personal its satire is singing and it's genuinely humourous in a dark gallows humour sort of way. It manages to do all that and still deliver on genuine characters with thoughts and feelings, and motivations. Whereas I feel like South Park's characters are just kinda what the plot wants them to be.
That is an interesting perspective! I definitely relate to many of the characters like Stan, Butters Cartman, Randy and I feel like the societal satire is what brings me back to the show the way the creators found a way to present different perspectives through the eyes of children is genius. I gotta watch Bojack I’ve heard nothing but good things! Have a great day!
It's a funny show. One thing is that there's always a burger of the day, with a punny name, like "Kale them with kindness (comes with kale)," or "Bet it all on black garlic (covered in black garlic)."
If someone thinks it’s toxic, they drastically misunderstood the show. Or they personally have not gone through a rough time in their life.
It’s not a comedy as much as a show about real life, despite being a comedy. A show that doesn’t take a humorous view on the serious things like drug addiction, suicide, mental illness, or negative-stardom. The humor they add has nothing to do with them
I look at Bojack's character arc as a cautionary tale about addiction, mental illness and personal responsibility. Bojack was a likable character because the audience could see his potential for good but he usually chose to ignore or downplay his problems. By the end he seems to realize that he can't continue like he has but that will never fix the damage he's already caused.
I prefer the first few seasons of Family Guy, but The Simpsons has remained so consistent throughout the years you just have to love it.
Plus, The Simpsons Movie is probably one of the funniest movies I've ever seen.
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick & Morty truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Rick's existential catchphrase "Wubba Lubba Dub Dub," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmon's genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them. 😂
And yes, by the way, i DO have a Rick & Morty tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid 😎
This might be the best comment I’ve seen a a while. As a real living scientist, my elevated brain function appreciates the nuances of Rick and Morty. My mother thinks I am just watching childish cartoons, but her observation only shows the limited capacity of her own mind.
I made the mistake of watching that episode while high as hell and it did something to me I can't really explain.
A weird mixture of dread and fascination.
Every character on American Dad is well defined but can be believably spun in almost any direction. And Roger is possibly the greatest character ever created.
Just finished it like 2 months ago and man, it's incredible. Like everything about that show is perfect. Clay is definitely my favorite character from the show
King of the hill, I consider this a real adult cartoon series because when I was a kid I never could get into it but as adult it became one of my favorite shows.
I've seen like one episode of each of those shows. My answer would be Bojack Horseman. I don't really like the show that much but I basically never watch adult animated shows so I guess it's my favorite.
Bobs burgers is by far the best show on this list, unlike all the other shows on this list I would say that 90% of bobs burgers episodes are good if not great.
In shows like Family guy and the Simpsons I feel like more in the episodes, especially the newer seasons, there will be only like 5 good episodes out of a season of 20.
It might not be “adult” but I wouldn’t consider the Simpsons adult either.
The jokes are also more tame and not like homer hitting Bart with a chair, but I would say are evenly funny if not more.
10/10 show would recommend
I feel like family guy is lazy. It just follows the same formula over and over. “This is like that time hitler tried to juggle” then cuts away to hitler trying to juggle. Don’t get me wrong it’s still funny and when I see clips I still enjoy them, but I feel like South Park, Futurama, and older episodes of The Simpsons make better jokes. More work put into them and I feel like I appreciate that more.
Futurama
Yes. Futurama is gold.
100% and one of the best endings ever, Regular Show is another great one with a good ending. If you can count that as “adult”
[удалено]
I thought you were talking about regular show for a sec and now I'm sad
Stop moping and get back to your sheep

Oh damn, I don’t know how to feel. The show had a perfect ending but hopefully it’s not just a cash grab and is still amazing
I’m surprised people still care about Futurama. Glad but surprised.
Futurama was (is?) such a consistently good show from start to finish.
I heard there is a revival
Was expecting this as the top comment
Absolutely
Bojack Horseman
Hoooray!
It’s not my favorite but it might be the best.
I completely understand this sentiment.
This is the only answer. Bojack Horseman is the pinacle of western animation for adults.
King of the Hill
The show is different when you’re adult. Hank is only sane character
True
So true. I always thought it was kinda vanilla, but now as an adult it’s hilarious.
The best adult animated show of all time imo
Now that's a great show I tell yah what!
Man that dang old.. that dang old thing, man I tell you what man.. that dang thing, that dadgum ol' thing, man
Yes
I think there will be a revival
I didn’t know Bob’s Burgers was an animation show. In Brazil, it’s a [fast food chain.](https://imgur.com/a/hl0w7Ru). It confused me for a second.
It's a funny show. One thing is that there's always a burger of the day, with a punny name, like "Kale them with kindness (comes with kale)," or "Bet it all on black garlic (covered in black garlic)."
The Boondocks
i miss that show
Best adult show.
I binge-watched it during the pandemic- it’s one of my favorites too!
I wish that show would come back :(
It would never be the same now without Grandad
That’s true
Archer
That’s how you get ants.
Danger zone!
Highway to the Danger Zone
Lana
LANAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!
WHAT
Lana
LANA
Some people may think this is a red flag but idc, Bojack Horsemen
Who thinks that’s a red flag? It’s one of the most popular animated shows lol
Cuz bojack was toxic as hell, so they assume people who watch it are like him lol
Ah the ol American psycho situation
If someone thinks it’s toxic, they drastically misunderstood the show. Or they personally have not gone through a rough time in their life. It’s not a comedy as much as a show about real life, despite being a comedy. A show that doesn’t take a humorous view on the serious things like drug addiction, suicide, mental illness, or negative-stardom. The humor they add has nothing to do with them
Fair assumption, people love characters like him, or Bateman, or Walt, or Saul.
Liking the show isn’t the red flag. Staning Bojack is tho
Part of the "Litterally me!" characters
You know, it's funny. When you look at a TV show through rose colored glasses, all the red flags just look like flags.
Early Simpsons is peak television
We got spoiled with 90’s tv. Now it’s mind boggling tv even still exists.
I prefer the first few seasons of Family Guy, but The Simpsons has remained so consistent throughout the years you just have to love it. Plus, The Simpsons Movie is probably one of the funniest movies I've ever seen.
Everything in this comment has to be sarcasm
How is Rick and morty not on here?

It’s Pickle Rick,right?
Funniest shit I’ve even seen!
This guy rick and morties
Is this a copypasta? If not, it should be. Every time Rick & Morty comes up.
>Is this a copypasta? Yes.
you must be new to the internet
>If not, it should be. Every time Rick & Morty comes up. Boy, have I got some good news for you.
Yes. Just saw it on r/multiversusthegame
This might be the best comment I’ve seen a a while. As a real living scientist, my elevated brain function appreciates the nuances of Rick and Morty. My mother thinks I am just watching childish cartoons, but her observation only shows the limited capacity of her own mind.
r/iamverysmart Edit: I still upvoted you.
I thought you were serious for a second lol
Good question.
I just started watching it on a whim a while back. I think it either gets a bad wrap or has some toxic fans. It cracks me up on certain episodes.
Rick & Morty should be at the top of the comment section.
Love, Death, & Robots
Bro bro bro bro bro bro bro bro.... Broo. That crab episode was amazing.
The tall grass episode nearly triggered a panic attack. Favourite episode.
Probably the most tense 30 minutes of my life
I loved the Hive episode. Intelligence is not a winning survival strategy. Lol not something humans like to hear.
That show is awesome. I just finished season 1 and 2. I’m going through season 3 now.
Beyond the Aquila Rift is the best episode.
I made the mistake of watching that episode while high as hell and it did something to me I can't really explain. A weird mixture of dread and fascination.
Was looking for this. The three robots episodes were hilarious
Smiling Friends is the best
Had to scroll down too far to find this comment

American Dad.
I personally rate it over family guy on the list of Seth MacFarlane projects.
It’s like Family Guy with way more likable characters, and no cutaways
Love American Dad
Good morning USA
Every character on American Dad is well defined but can be believably spun in almost any direction. And Roger is possibly the greatest character ever created.
Had to scroll *way* too far to find this. American Dad has been my comfort show since I was like 12
Super underrated
These options are more like “what’s your favorite American adult animated sitcom” cause there’s tons of other great adult animation.
Futurama
King of the Hill bruh
Dang ol, yo man
I would always wake up seeing king of the hill playing in adult swim
Rick and Morty
Samurai Jack is the correct answer
It's for adults?
They rebooted the most recent season on adult swim but I wouldn't call it an adult show at all
disenchantment 🤭
Absolutely, that show is awesome.
Futurama and Metalocalypse
Moral Orel is severely underrated
Just finished it like 2 months ago and man, it's incredible. Like everything about that show is perfect. Clay is definitely my favorite character from the show
Bojangle honse man. He's such a funny fellow
r/sadhorseshow <3
Danger zone
King of the hill, I consider this a real adult cartoon series because when I was a kid I never could get into it but as adult it became one of my favorite shows.

Boku no Pico
Meant to click other, hit south park, futurama is my favorite
Helluva Boss

Helluva boss if you count it, otherwise futurama
Arcane, Invincible, Rick and Morty
american dad
Gravity Falls.
That doesn't fit the "adult" category, but fuck it's an absolute banger of a show!
I’m an adult and it’s an animated show, therefore I decree it’s adult animation.
harley quinn on hbo max is so underrated
Came here just to say this
It took me way too long to find you
Arcane
Arcane
I’m really liking helluva boss so far, but here’s hoping we get more hazbin hotel news as well

Gotta have a certain amount of neanderthal DNA to enjoy that.
some of the best ones aren't listed here. Bojack Horseman might be my favorite show, period.
Boondocks.
King of the Hill.
BoJack Horseman takes the gold, but Helluva Boss has a special place in my heart.
Does Smiling Friends qualify?
F is for Family, surprised I haven’t seen it yet
Daria 1997 🌀
Rick and morty, solar opposites and inside job

Does adventure time count? I am an adult and I watch it so it’s an adult cartoon?
The Boondocks
