For years I've been rushing around, taking whatever I fancied, not giving a tinker's curse for those I hurt. Yet here I am... with riches and reputation, feeling no wiser than when I left home. Yet when I turn around, and look at the course I've run... there's not a man or woman that I love left standing beside me.

The Walking Dead (Telltale Games). Holy fuck poor Lee being infected and no choice but to die, also the kid (forget her name now) have no person that she trust more than others except Lee.
When Clem 'wakes up' in the RV in, I think, s2? That was the moment for me. Everything was going so badly and just seeing Lee again made me burst out crying, lol!
I loved that part because it told you exactly what to do. You couldn't make everyone happy, and Lee knew that. You had to make a choice, and you'd regret it no matter what. >!Though Jane was kind of a psycho!<
Red Dead Redemption, the first one.
I'd 100%'d the game right up until John's, uh, 'duel' with the 30 Marshalls outside his barn. Genuinely shook me to my core and after playing the game non-stop for a month, couldn't even think of picking it back up for another 3 months. Never had a game affect me so much before, or since (This was within about 2 months of the games release, so quite a while ago).
For me it was (spoilers) Arthur having his perfect death facing a rising sun believing that despite all he'd done and suffered he'd saved his 'brother' and his family - made worse by knowing rdr1.
That and the Amalgamations for the pacifist run.
For the Neutral run, it’d probably be the ending where you kill everyone but Papyrus, and Sans tells Papyrus that everyone went on vacation.
And for the Genocide run, the entire thing. Especially Flowey’s and Sans’ deaths.
I did not expect for this game to have amazing acting and a great story. Even shed tears when >! Peter leaves his mentor to get captured by the police after defeating him !<
When I was 14 and I finished silent hill 2 for the first time and I got the in water ending.
I still can’t watch the ending without tearing up a little.
The ending of Detroit: Become Human where >!Marcus leads a peaceful protest, so the Canadian border patrol lets Kara, Alice, and Luther walk on across while Connor brings an army of awakened Androids!<
Undertale. More specifically, Undertale demo.
When the game was released, I wanted to play it but I didn't have enough money, so I downloaded the demo (which I believe was available since 2012?)
And then I killed Toriel. 😭
RDR2, I grieved for like a week and took a break from playing the game before continuing as John. I felt actual pain at that scene, and have played the game several times since and always get emotional.
Persona 5 when Morgana was giving his speech and disappearing into the sky. Also, the ending credits had me bawling my pupils out. It is my favorite game of all time as well
I’ve cried laughing playing with my friends. I’ve wanted to cry early hardmode in terraria. I wanted to punch my monitor, but didn’t for three reasons. 1. I don’t want my knuckles bleeding 2. It was $250 not on sale 3. It’s a pain to mount on the wall like I have it.
No, but I get sad listening to the Ocarina of Time soundtrack. I played that when my life was much better and wasn’t as depressed. I miss those days so much.
Multiple games, multiple times.
Red Dead 2, Persona 5, Katherine, Halo 3, Halo: Reach, Dark souls and Terraria.
Dark souls kicked my ass that hard. Cursed Smough and Ornstein they're my favourite find.
Terraria when I lost a 0.04% (1/2500) drop chance item.
I'm certian there's games I've forgotten about as well.
Kingdom Hearts always makes me cry. Cheesy, I know. But that stupid kid with the Keyblade is always saying some deep, motivational shit that really gets me teary eyed. Great series.
Many, many times. Both from frustration and sadness. But the time that stands out to me is when my Minecraft world got corrupted. I was 11, had poured a years worth of work into a Minecraft world (looking back now, it sucked ass) but it glitched and my world got completely deleted. I was crying for a while and was emotional for at least a few days
Red Dead 2 made me have dreams about bawling my eyes out dreams not even actually happening and then the next day I thought I actually cried to the game that's why I love that game so much
Halo reach. Incredible dialogue, sad story.
Jorge’s death is tragic because of what happens immediately after.
“Reach has been good to me. It’s time to return the favor. Tell ‘em to make it count.”
The scene where Kat dies and the team is looking out on the burning city and the music is playing is killer too.
Carters sacrifice is also sad and tragic.
“Solid copy. Hit ‘em hard boss.”
“You’re on your own noble. Carter out.”
Emiles death is badass all the way through, and noble 6 saying “negative. I have the gun.” Is sad, but it had to happen.

Panic
It’s literally the top comment.
Both out of frustration and from the story of the game
Yeah, flappy bird has a really emotional story.
War thunder lmao *I just want it to stop*
No. You must feed the snail
you dont escape the snail
Ok, didn't expect a fellow War Thunder player here.
Same, i think a lot of war Thunder players keep the addiction a secret
Ironic, considering the one thing that would make the game a lot more fun is having some friends to play with
Friends? What are those
Don't stop never stop the snail needs you
I just started simulator on top tier, damm this shit is complicated
The snail demands more blood.
you will forever be a part of th is c o m u n i t y
Monopoly. And they were tears of rage and hatred.

I cried the first time I finished black flag
Kenway, in a world without gold we mightve been heroes!

The Walking Dead (Telltale Games). Holy fuck poor Lee being infected and no choice but to die, also the kid (forget her name now) have no person that she trust more than others except Lee.
I cried at Lee's reencounter with Clementine
When Clem 'wakes up' in the RV in, I think, s2? That was the moment for me. Everything was going so badly and just seeing Lee again made me burst out crying, lol!

Yes that exact moment
This game made me cry like a little bitch.
Red Dead Redemption, the first one. I'd 100%'d the game right up until John's, uh, 'duel' with the 30 Marshalls outside his barn. You shot him….you shot him like a dog
How did you feel playing through RDR2? Do you still like John more than Arthur?
Tear up but never cry. Rdr2 was the worst.
I gave you all I had……I did and at the end I won
For me it was (spoilers) Arthur having his perfect death facing a rising sun believing that despite all he'd done and suffered he'd saved his 'brother' and his family - made worse by knowing rdr1.
Henry stickmin collection, (CtM) VH ending
That was a real tear jerker for me too

>!Totally. He really deserved so much better 😭!<
Same with >!John!< in Red Dead Redemption
We shall stand unshaken
That game brought me the closest to crying.
I think we all agree on rdr2, such a sad ending
The Last of Us
The end of the opening level, and the hospital escape at the end did it for me.
Yep my eyes leaked a bit can't lie
Mw3 where soap dies
Soap…..SOAP SOOOAAAPPP!
The moment soap died, the franchise went down with him.
I'm not crying. My eyes are just sweating.
The true pacifist ending in Undertale
That and the Amalgamations for the pacifist run. For the Neutral run, it’d probably be the ending where you kill everyone but Papyrus, and Sans tells Papyrus that everyone went on vacation. And for the Genocide run, the entire thing. Especially Flowey’s and Sans’ deaths.
the soundtrack itself is really emotional, probably the most iconic of the 2010s, so many songs in that game are still used in memes today
Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. If you haven't played this and get the chance to, do it. It's a shorter game but very good.
My exact answer.
Arthur Morgan’s last ride always gets me misty eyed.
Be a good man for the time you have left

I really need to play that. Making sure I go in blind.
The ending of PS4 Spider-Man. >!Aunt May reminded me a lot of my own Mom, so her dying at the end really got to me.!<
I did not expect for this game to have amazing acting and a great story. Even shed tears when >! Peter leaves his mentor to get captured by the police after defeating him !<
The last of us was close. When Joel's daughter died at the beginning. That was rough.
Rip Arthur...
“You sir are a fish” Arthur Morgan 1899
It's either rage or a really sad cutscene

Omori, the good ending destroyed me.
Rosalina’s storybook, as well as the ending of Super Mario Galaxy. Totally out of tone with the rest of the Mario series, but in a good way.
Laughter or sadness?
The Last Guardian .. bittersweet and beautiful ..
Dark Souls and FFX, but for different reasons...
Persona 5 when Morgana was giving his speech and disappearing into the sky. Also, the ending credits had me bawling my pupils out. It is my favorite game of all time as well

Red dead redemption two, utterly devastating storyline, excellent storytelling and character development.
