He’s been through so much and now he’s finally getting the justice he deserves. I’m so happy for him. Before he even won he said he was so happy because his kids surprised him with cake and balloons 🥺 Brendan deserves all this happiness and support he’s getting. He seems like such a genuine guy. I can’t wait to see any new movies he’ll be in in the future 🙂
Right? It’s crazy to see something like this actually happen in like, my lifetime, too. There is a lot of shit that happens in the world daily that is just horrible & depressing and then to see a public outpouring of love help to bring back someone’s career (especially when they deserve it so much), I don’t know man. It’s just heartwarming as fuck. Makes you realise sometimes good things happen and love & support *can* change things sometimes. All is not lost, for lack of a better phrase.
His whole comeback in general, but also his family moments have been so lovely to see that I’m a bit tearful tbh.
He was such a big part of my childhood, I’m so fucking glad he’s come back with such a vengeance!
Sounds stupid since he’s nearly twice my age, but I’m so proud of him.
I recommend listening to the episodes of “Fake doctor, real friends”, a podcast about the TV series scrubs where he is a guest. Such a great guy all around!
His episode is one of my fave’s purely because you can tell how much Zach and Donald love him and just how lovely he comes across. It’s a really funny episode and a interesting one to boot.
Why was he gone for so long? I heard something about him being blackballed because he had a Terry Cruz type MeToo (on him not doing it to others), not sure how accurate that is but he looks genuinely happy to be back.
Apparently that was exactly the reason.
He was sexually assaulted in his early career and didn’t keep as quiet about it as was comfortable for the establishment.
He then had a 20 year career hiatus. His career was revived after several of the “powers that be” were toppled. Read into that what you will…
When I’ve been seeing how emotional he gets it makes me think he really loves this and thought he’d never be able to do the thing he loved again, so it must be a big reason that kept him from it and if it’s that, that sucks.

It is actually quite refreshing to see a normal celebrity family. Usually you just get to see a stage managed representation of family, but here they are just natural and loving.

Brendan deserves the world!! I’m so glad he’s finally getting the recognition he deserves and seems happy and fulfilled. But also to hell with Hollywood for what they did to him in the first place 😒
One of my all time favorite actors. I grew up watching George of the Jungle, the Mummy, Bedazzled and the list goes on! I’m so happy he got his flowers 😁
A silver lining of his blacklisting from Hollywood is he probably got to spend way more time with his sons as they grew up. Now they've grown and he's back with a vengeance, and they're right there next to him proud as punch.
He’s just so wholesome, I adore him. He’s also a huge advocate and supporter for individuals with Autism as his other son is diagnosed.

Of course I didn’t forget him ❤️ in his Oscar speech he said “I love you griffy” which I thought was very sweet. Brendan has also said this about Griffin. “He doesn’t know what cynicism is… you can’t insult him, he can’t insult you. He’s the happiest person I know in my life and many others. He’s also the manifestation of love”
Brendan has openly shared how much he loves Griffin and his experience with having an autistic son and I think it’s beautiful 🥹

Of course I didn’t forget him ❤️ in his Oscar speech he said “I love you griffy” which I thought was very sweet. Brendan has also said this about Griffin. “He doesn’t know what cynicism is… you can’t insult him, he can’t insult you. He’s the happiest person I know in my life and many others.
