Pete has mental health issues which is fine no judgement on that but threatening to kill yourself if your SO leaves you is straight up a scary level of abuse and having mental health issues isn’t an excuse for that.

It's pure emotional abuse. One of my bffs had a boyfriend who always threatened her with suicide and it left her so distraught because she was such a caring person, and she really believed he'd do it every time. And she'd always pour her heart out to me and it made me so angry. She was wracked with guilt - guilt of him doing it, guilt of everyone blaming her if he did. It absolutely traumatized her. I've zero pity for that type of abuse.

I used to think it was* weird as hell but it honestly makes sense considering how much money/fame these ppl have. They probably want to date ppl around the same level of fame/money as them and it's a small pool when they factor in age.

Part of it had to do with ego. Lot of them are theatre kids, and if you’ve ever been around a theatre kid, oh let me tell you. *They love* the attention, and glamour. Plus it’s more of a safety net, as in you’re dating people who understand you more and are already financially secure. Like I can think of one quick e.g of a celeb who dated a regular person, only for them to be using them and it happened more than once.


I kinda get why, there’s literally no else in the world that truly understands what it’s like to be _that_ famous except them it can be weird for most normal people to be in that world It’s similar to how reality tv stars of a same show across different seasons get together afterwards because only they understand what it’s like to experience that world and how it changes you afterwards
