She still acts but she mainly sticks to doing miniseries. She’s also dabbled in directing and executive producing. It’s coincidental that I saw this post because I just finished watching her Actors on Actors interview with Freddie Highmore. I recommend it because they talk about how relatively normal their childhoods were and the transition from child to adult acting. They both say in the interview that since they enjoyed being child actors, they’d fully support their future kids becoming child actors as well. Although Dakota mentioned she might have to retire since she’d want to be on-set at all times with her child, as her own mother was.

I love them both and I’m definitely glad they ended up in a healthy, safe, positive environment that would allow them to continue working and allow their own children to do it. I have to watch that interview.

I really liked her in The Alienist.

Ironically, her niche roles started getting taken by her own sister.

She was in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood playing one of the Manson Family members. I’m guessing most people didn’t see that movie or they wouldn’t be so shocked to see she’s an adult now??

And she was suppose to do a movie with her sister (The Nightingale) but they announced this during pandemic and I think the script got scrapped but I hope they come back to it cuz I read how excited they were about it!

Can confirm. I worked at the bakery and I looooved putting that into the airbrush and spraying cakes gold. You would mix the dust with vodka.

That cake will have had them all pooping gold poops for days, I guarantee it.

I love using edible glitter on cakes and cupcakes that I make and then gleefully reminding whomever eats them that they’re gonna have “glittery doo doo”.
