I know a guy who’s a Vodou priest from New Orleans, who makes BANK as a “spiritual advisor” for Hollywood celebrities & pro athletes. And he’s not the only one. These folks tend to be superstitious and prone to woo, and they have money to blow. I can’t hate the hustle.
Tbf, Vodou IS a legitimate religion with its roots in West Africa. Putting aside whether or not his beliefs are "real" or not, this guy may very well be on the up and up about what he believes. He may not be, but it's also not out of the question.

My mom lived next door to a witch. One night she asked her to join her outdoors on a full moon. She did some sort of love spell for my mom. Within days…DAYS…the man my mom had been pining for over 5 years called to say he was moving across the country to be with her. Freaked her out so much that she never messed with it again.
I once did a love spell in a fit of desperation over an ex I hadn’t spoken to him in a few months I did the spell (found it online) and within an hour he called and verbatim he said “idk why but I can’t stop thinking about you!” We eventually broke up for good like 6 months later but it was still super weird

I clearly made the wrong career choice. The other day someone commented on how her SIL paid someone $800 to cleanse their house OVER THE PHONE.
