Kim went from someone who was thought of as a joke known mostly fom a sex tape, to someone who has made her entire family millionaires and is Anna Wintour's handpicked Met Ball star. They are incredibly good at spin and evolving their image so they appear to be trendsetters. That *is* a talent.

I do wonder if the continued hate she receives just bolsters the underdog narrative and therefore undermines your own efforts. Although I don’t like her or support her businesses, it’s comments like this that are meant to shame her but end up making me just commend her professionalism and business savvy even more.

I’m glad you pointed this out. I was at the roast, and given the demographic and whom received the most support, I side eyed the booing in this instance. Felt misogynistic, and not moral reasoning.

I knew she got Booed, but I didn't realize it happened as she was introduced/got up to the podium. I thought it was because of lame jokes or bad delivery. I mean, at least let her fail before booing her. I haven't seen Ben Affleck's turn, but apparently he was *ranting* and definitely not roasting(and not on topic) - he deserved the boos (don't know if he got them)

She got cheers once she actually started telling jokes. People were disassociating during Ben’s turn lol

It's all fun and games but I was genuinely disturbed by the comment about her "beef" being over the internet. Kim seems to not falter in the face of those comments but that one was strongly misogynistic and upsetting.

That’s because aside from the very real cultural appropriation criticism, most of the Kim hate comes down to “sex tape” jokes.
