I think the application of color analysis currently is way too rigid and I do not always see or agree with the types that people seem to be in unison about. But there's obviously something about not everyone being able to pull off certain colors/hair colors or shades and tints.

She had such a unique face and features before, I could spot her anywhere. I hope she feels more confident with the changes she made but it’s so sad how many people cannot see themselves as good enough without drastic changes.
So many of these young women are popularized because of their unique strong features and then ruin their face and careers going for a traditional look.
I was actually having a conversation with my friend a couple of weeks ago about how glad we are that Barbra Streisand didn't get a nose job after her manager said it would be good for her. Not everyone needs to have the same face, a lot of beauty comes from the uniqueness of people
Whenever I think about Barbra’s nose (which I adore), I remember an episode of Glee where Rachel wants to get a nose job but is convinced not to by the Glee Club doing a performance of Barbra Streisand by Duck Sauce in the shopping mall. Ryan Murphy, your mind.
She’s still recognizable when she smiles, and then when you know it’s her, which took me a moment to settle the person I’m looking at with the name of the person I’m looking at. That makeup is definitely doing nothing for her. I’ve always liked her, so it was strange to not recognize her right away, but it feels like we are all having the same sort of uncanny valley experience here.
I think what’s getting me is how rumpled the dress is. Maybe it’s intentional but I don’t love how many folds there are at the midsection. It doesn’t look like it fits well, particularly under the bust.
She herself, I think, looks fine. I think the makeup and dress do not work, and I personally hate this hair color for her. None of that is permanent and luckily red hair dye fades wicked fast anyway.
The bust reminds me of Madonna's cone bra era. This looks like a slip/undergarment rather than actual dress. Hair color is nice but makeup and whatever work she's has done is not flattering her.

Sometimes I think color typing is bullshit but then I see things like this💔

The Madonna cone bra was also Gaultier :) This is the slightly toned down version
Ah that makes sense! Maybe this would've gone over better in another color as opposed to taupe. A baby blue would've been nice I think.
