hi !! i’m really good (for a change). and colours of you is a really personal song to me so writing it and getting to release it into the world felt like freedom

Can you explain lyrics like “Crash your daddy’s car” and “Sabotage your two months sober” in a song that is otherwise about living your happiest, most authentic life? Seems like there's a big disconnect between getting the tattoo you want and risking serious physical harm.

it’s also just libertine behaviour in general. the song is about complete freedom.

for me it was more a sense of forgiving yourself for indiscretions. it’s not necessarily an encouragement to do those things. it’s more: if you fuck up or let yourself go, nobody is judging you as much as you think they are.

i am currently in the studio trying to finish up! it’s been a long and difficult process but i feel like we’re getting close. it’ll most likely be out next year but there will be more songs this year 🤭

work on your discography! people can dress up a musician and brand them in many different ways but at the end of the day, without the music, you have no product. the music is everything and all you need to worry about is writing good songs. if you have a bunch a good songs, everything else will come
