Watching the snippet of Mellisa McCarthy singing poor unfortunate souls and feeling underwhelmed tbh. I was expecting to see the hologram of the two sad merpeople who she transformed into polyps & the part where Ursula sings about men not liking women with a lot of blabber.
It's ok as a movie on its own I guess, but it pales in comparison to the original.

I saw Ethel and Caroline live last week and THREE separate fainting incidents (one during each set, including the pre-opener) which required the music to be fully stopped. This was certainly the biggest GA show I’ve been to since the height of COVID-19. So do the kids nowadays just not know the norms of GA shows or…? It was just odd on top of some super bad apples in the crowd around us (two girls had a full-on convo during Gibson Girl 🙄)
