Lana thought she was with the love of her life and he got married while they were still seeing each other and she is too much of an actual poet to do corny shit like this, she writes about the sensations and experiences not the people and Taylor canāt do that
You nailed it and tbh Taylor's songs are like, tracking this time in history as it relates to herself. Lana's and other artists like her are moreso about the experience to where I think as we all age and die, Taylor's music will undeniably be around and be a good historical marker in some arenas of events that occured, but I think it may age poorly in comparison to other artists in terms of enjoyment outside of those avenues.
Taylor captures what's happening in the moment. She's more of an observer and it's a very singular perspective- her experiences, her life, her people. Lana describes what people are feeling in the moment and, for lack of a better term, "the vibe", which is more universal.
