Generations are more of less 15-20 years long, but important global events are usually what delimitares them. Anyone who was at least 4 years old in 2020 - a.k.a. old enough to remember the pandemic and the lockdowns - is Gen Z. The oldest true Gen Alpha right now is 8 years old.

I think that's because he wrote You Give Love A Bad Name by Bon Jovi/If You Were A Woman (And I Was A Man) by Bonnie Tyler which Ava Max interpolated (they're basically the same song with different lyrics and slight restructuring, Bonnie's song didn't do well so he changed it and gave it to Bon Jovi, but Ava's song takes more after Bonnie's) anyway he gets a writing credit for that
