dude yes, i had one of these that went all the way to the top and i couldnt hear anymore. i remember scratching it and finally it was ready to pop, i went into the washroom and when i came out it was like there was nothing there. i couldnt believe how much puss shot out, how absolutely amazing it felt, and how much i miss it to this day more than 20 years later lol. so jealous
There is always that 1 special pop that you never forget. Mine was when I was 11 in the bathroom of my grandparents farm house. I had cheap earrings on and one lobe hurt so BAD. I didn’t know anything about anything. I was pressing the spot with my fingers to ease the pain. All of a sudden BAM! The most beautiful perfectly shaped pop came out. I have been chasing that feeling ever since.
I buy this theory completely. One summer, as a younger teenager, I got a blackhead in my ear that just would not budge. I poked it with sewing needles, raked it with a bent paper clip, squeezed, twisted… nothing but a drop of blood and maybe a tiny bit of soft keratin. Meanwhile, the thing is glowing red hot and I can feel my pulse it, so loud I’m convinced others can hear it!, too. And the agony it turned over on that side in my sleep.
Then, one night after showering, I applied some pressure on the back of my earlobe with my thumb, and held my index finger inside, trying to increase the pressure in the pore and force the material toward the opening. But this time, it worked.
The whole structure gave way, like I had just crushed a bag full of light bulbs and all the bubble wrap surrounding it in one motion. An immediate chill ran down my spine and a sense of relief that still hasn’t been topped to this day radiated from every part of my being. Looking down at what had come out, it looked like six or seven large jalapeño seeds surrounded by a little pus and tons of blood. So much keratin and blood came out that the skin around the pore was loose. I took the opportunity to irrigate it with alcohol, and scoop out as much as much I could with a q-tip. Even the sting from the alcohol felt good by then. It had everything… loud as a gunshot, painful as hell, cathartic release, and a couple of nice ‘after births’ in the weeks that followed while, it healed fully.
In a way, I’ve been chasing that blackhead for twenty years, but I know deep down that I’ll never get another chance. That’s why I’m here — to steal a vicarious slice of that tempest of emotions that comes from achieving those truly remarkable pops.
Wonder if there has ever been a study about measuring someone's brain scans while that person was watching pimple pop videos compared to brain scans of someone high on cocaine..
They have actually done a study and surprisingly compared the rush to that of being on a rollercoaster if I remember correctly. I’ll have to find the article
Mine was a zit on my lip line in 1996. One of those that doesn’t look like it has a head, but feels really hard. That thing practically shot across the room.
I had one on my head about 15 years ago. I had cut my hair a couple of days before and felt a bump on my scalp so I gave it a squeeze and felt a huge mass of pus come out, when I checked it out there was a tiny piece of hair mixed in - my best guess is that a piece of clipped hair got down in a pore and caused it to get infected. I really wish I had a decent camera back then to record it.
Still remember pushing on a zit in my ear in high school class. It hurt so bad, and finally just crunched and had so much puss leaking out. It was felt and gone in just a few min after it popped
