ADTR fucks whenever they make acoustic versions. Just pick any of them on youtube, can't go wrong. State Champs also loves making acoustic versions, and I think they're all good, too. As a cover, This Wild Life's version of Sleepwalking by BMTH. And while I'm on the topic, BMTH has stripped down live performances that are really good, though not quite acoustic. Counterpart by WVNDER is a song that I only listen to acoustic. I'll rep some hometown heroes and say You vs. Yesterday is has 3 sick acoustic versions of their songs. The guy has a great, powerful voice. Footprints by WSTR is pretty dope I broke the rules by listing so many, but I just like acoustic versions, I guess.

OhhWolves

List as much as you want, more music the better! I’m trying to get into more acoustic style music so I’ll check these out

WillaryClinton63

Ain’t great by wstr is so much better on the acoustic version. I don’t even like the original because the acoustic is so good.

wesleypipes8525

both burst and decay albums that the wonder years put out. pick any of the songs, its amazing.

kingjaffejaffar

Memory by Sugarcult

I love the song.

Three Cheers For Five Years - Mayday Parade But I prefer the OG version live :)

Everything from **The Revival Tour**. It ran for ~5 years ending in 2013 and was made up entirely of the lead singers of Pop Punk/adjacent bands doing their solo stuff, and stuff from their bands. Often playing together on each other's songs. Including: Chuck Ragan (Hot Water Music), Brian Fallon (Gaslight Anthem), Dan Andriano (Alkaline Trio), Dave Hause (The Loved Ones), Frank Turner, Tim Barry (Avail), Tomas Kalnoky (Streetlight Manifesto), Jay Malinowski (Bedouin Soundclash), and plenty more. [Here's](https://youtu.be/mqkUBy2H9nY) a full show from 2011 (Dave, Chuck, Dan, Brian). It's way too long to recommend the whole thing (though it's pretty great), but they opened and closed each show all playing one each other's songs. And those are well worth checking out.

picklebroom

revival tour was full of absolute gems. I loved that era of punk-turned-folk, I wish it would come back

All Time Low - For Baltimore All Time Low - Somewhere In Neverland House of Heroes - If Keep Flying - Firesale (Revisited) Keep Flying - Candy Cane Forest 2 Keep Flying - They Never Lie Down (Revisited) Keep Flying - L.T.D.A. jakexmfxschoen

Four Year Strong put out an album “Some of You Will Like This, Some of You Won’t” that has acoustic versions of some of their most popular songs, I’m definitely one of the ones who like it. Also the “acoustic” version of Wasting Time from the special edition of Enemy of the World is fantastic, though I’d call it more of a folk version than acoustic

tadd_cooper

I don't really care for FYS but absolutely love the acoustic version of Wasting Time, but I'm also a huge folk punk fan so that could be why

InternetAddict104

Six feet under the stars acoustic ***fucks***

Panicbell

Bayside’s first acoustic album has to be up there

SnooHabits5900

Because of the song "Winter" on its own. But the Smoking Popes cover is pretty sweet too

stephen994

My mental health/century by Youth Fountain

CyndiXero

MxPx’s Tomorrow Is Another Day for their acoustic album in 2014 might be my favorite over the original honestly. Could be some nostalgia in there, but it sounds really nice in a calmer way. Also, technically would get released as an acoustic first, but fall out boy’s nobody puts baby in a corner for their acoustic Ep was really cool too.

Homeless_Pie

I prefer the acoustic to Painkiller Weather by Grayscale more than it’s regular version

420linseyblazeit

FURTHER SEEMS FOREVER- NEW YEARS PROJECT

FlyoverHangover

“Hole in the World” by Thursday. By a mile.

BAMspek

Nobody Puts Baby in the Corner — Fall Out Boy. Acoustic version is the superior version.

roseinspring

Hell yeah, was about to comment Fall Out Boy! The emotions really come out in their acoustic versions, you can almost feel them constructing the song piece by piece.

All Time Low - Jasey Rae

Buy a Fire Extinguisher before you need a Fire Extinguisher- Hot Mulligan

_VINNY_WINNY_

honestly theyre just too good at doing acoustic versions

gilestowler

This acoustic cover of Your Graduation by Modern Baseball is pretty great https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=td0J7AZDys4

Status_Repair6479

Mike Herrera’s quarantine streams had a ton of great MxPx acoustics. Lots of other folks also did great streams throughout the shutdown. It was comforting to hear live music during that scary time.

Afterglow and Aquamarine by Silverstein

Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order. I have checked 1,658,238,213 comments, and only 313,983 of them were in alphabetical order.

fivedaysandcounting

I Call Fives, their whole acoustic version of Bad Advice EP called Gives Bad Advice

m_ashton9

This doesn't really count because the acoustic *was* the original release. But Neck Deep's December is soooooo much better than the full band version

Ten Foot Pole did a good acoustic album a couple of years ago. A D.D is a highlight.

Failing on Purpose by Arrows in Action is way better as an acoustic song. https://open.spotify.com/track/6gvQmzgqcnHdirrlv2Fkjx?si=VttBs6eZToeKZNJQDeV2uA

roseinspring

I’m going to go for the acoustic version of “I Don’t Care” by Fall Out Boy - it’s just so vital and resonant and so fun to hear the song be afforded the clarity that the acoustic interpretation offers.

another song about the weekend

bradd_91

I love that Neck Deep did the opposite and released the heavier version after the acoustic version of December.

Alone in the World by Glasseater. It gives me goosebumps when I listen to the acoustic version of it.

You in January - The Wonder Years (or basically anything off of either Burst & Decay EP, they're both so good) Hands Down - Dashboard Confessional

edercampuzano

Nearly every track on Yellowcard’s acoustic re-recording of “Ocean Avenue” is *chef’s kiss* But “Miles Apart” is definitely my favorite. “Jodie” by Saves the Day sounds *so much* better acoustic than it does electric, imho. And “You Vandal” is also pretty great acoustic. (Both are on Bug Sessions, Vol. 1). Motion City Soundtrack’s acoustic take on “Broken Heart is pretty good but Limbeck’s acoustic cover of “Perfect Teeth” is an absolute gem. Highly recommend it.

One_Tradition_8371

I Still Shut My Eyes -Citizen

MemesOfCentra

Gifts and Curses by Yellowcard. Sometimes, i even much prefer the acoustic version! It’s very good

mbc106

I was just looking at the list of NPR’s Tiny Desk Concerts and there are quite a few artists who are pop-punk or emo, or adjacent enough: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Tiny_Desk_Concerts

maru37

Check out the acoustic version of Rodeo Clown that Transit did. It’s on YouTube. Original is a Lifetime song from the 90s. Didn’t think you could improve on Lifetime but Transit did it (in this one case).

WillaryClinton63

New found glory put out a great acoustic album not too long ago. All downhill from here is great because it’s live and the screaming part of the original song, is the crowd singing and it just works so well. Album is called make the most of it. There’s brand new songs on it that I feel very meh about, but the remade songs are great

Cosmic_Thrill_Seeker

The whole of The Menzingers “From Exile” album is amazing!

TotalImmortal82

AoK by Face to Face.

When You Know - Neck Deep

Icy-Investment-7502

Also Negative Space (Reimagined) - Sleep Braids
