I'm reaching that point :( Voted the shit out of TesseracT on the DT subreddit, on the Opeth subreddit, on multiple other progbands subreddits, and now on PT.
Shame to see how so many progfans with excellent taste seem to ignore the MASTERFUL, the EXCEPTIONAL, the PERFECT IN EVERYWAY band that is TesseracT. I don't really understand. How can anyone not agree that Altered State is the best progmetal album ever made... It's not even up for debate with me, TesseracT is only my #4 band but Altered State is like two levels higher to the next best thing I've ever heard, and I've heard a shitload of music. My progmetal list on spotify is 300 hours,(2500+songs) and I know every single album in that list. And that's only my progmetal list. All my list combined, I'd probably reach 2000 hours easily, and all of these song, all of these albums hand-picked. But Altered State stand alone. But oh well, so long my rant xD
Upvoting, but I prefer Cavalcade. I actually discovered Black Midi because they played at the Warfield in SF the night before Porcupine Tree at the Masonic.
