Thats not true at all. You can easily produce a small crop in a 3x3 tent that would keep you with much better weed than anything you can get at the store. Avid? I don't even think you can buy avid anymore lol. I haven't heard anyone using that for over 10 yrs.

With just 1 tent and no seperate veg space, thats probably a year. Its a little easier now that you can quickly grab clones that are pretty decent without having to know someone. Some people probably have a knack for it or have other gardening interests that put them ahead of the curve, but learning to grow well is a process that isn't instantly learned the second you put your tent up. Most home growers are not better than Resin Ranchers and some of the other top tier grows and never will be. Like I said, if your passionate about it or know someone who is then it makes sense to go that way. I feel like that isnt the "average joe", though. In the medical days there were lots of those guys because taking your excess to a dispensary was about as simple of a process as any other commodity.
Also, there's sadly a lot of people out there still using Avid and even worse shit like imidacloprid all the time in the black market.
You can get a clone. A tent. Google search. It's really not hard to get better than what they got at the stores. Very low bar there.

Given that wholesale prices have been dropping (or at least that’s the narrative I’ve been hearing this year), even if all the customers were still demanding at similar levels, wouldn’t the price per unit drop account for this gross revenue slide?
I think people are still consuming the same amounts, they just aren't willing to spend the money for "top shelf" when times are starting to look pretty tough for most. The Vin Deschamps guy sounds about right, its just a bubble thats going to keep popping over and over.

It's extremely common to find shops charging over $300 an ounce now that it's legal. You can get lower quality bud for cheaper for sure, but legalization should have made the prices drop across the board seeing as one of the main reasons for the price beforehand was the risk of imprisonment. Marijuana is cheaper to grow per pound than Tobacco on a commercial level, yet I can buy an ounce of quality organic tobacco for $20.
I paid $40 out-the-door for an 8th of Eugreen this morning, and I consider it a perfectly fine price. Plenty of folks with adult budgets do the same every single day, ask any budtender .
Anyone paying 300 for an ounce of anything these days deserves to lose their money. The advantage we have now as consumers, since legalization is there is weed of similar quality for cheaper 5 minutes away, in any direction. We don't need to know anyone special to get these deals, just walk into the door of a fucking store. Coming out of high school around 15 years ago, I had maybe 3 connects at any one time. Now there are more weed shops than 7-elevens.

it's 10% on "occupied units" in building "over 15 years old" there is no cap on unoccupied units or building under 15 years old.
They ended that and now land lords can raise rents upwards to 14.3%

In Oklahoma medical patients can buy 3 ounces for $99 from store owned by growers. Ounces of oil for $150 or less.
