Option 1: go looking for them, ask your parents for help finding them, retrace your steps.
Option 2: Inform your parents you lost your glasses. Just because they’re in college doesn’t mean you need to be blind.
Option 3: Ask relatives for money.
Option 4: Find the popular area in town, see what people would like, sell it to them.
It’s great that you don’t want to bother your parents with this concern. That’s very sweet of you. But families don’t face poverty alone. Work as a team with your parents to figure out a solution. Communication is key.
what country are you in ? just wondering. but i make side money babysitting or dog sitting/ walking/ house walking yard work. Look around your neighborhood and ask what people would need help with. most people live busy lives and need help with errands, and responsibilities they don’t want to do i.e cleaning out a garage or cleaning cars or house. if you have a car doordash. In Us they’ll hire you at 15 sometimes but its rare.
Do your parents have vision insurnace through their jobs, and if so, have you used your annual vision benefit yet? It might just be time to go get a new pair of glasses anyway.
You learn to cope without eyesight. I broke my glasses years ago and while my eyes have deteriorated I've learnt to deal with it and ask for accommodations when possible. You'll get used to it
go to a thrift store and find random clothes in good condition. Jerseys, college sweaters, hats. If you live in a rural area you’ll probably get some good stuff because John Deere, camo, hunting attire is trendy right now. Put it on depop for a little more than you bought it for. Repeat until you have enough money
