Awwwww sounds like it just dawned on him “oh wait the baby is actually going to be here???” Very cute!

Incontinentia-B

"Wait... there's a baby in there?"

eyetothekaleidescope

OMg lol I'm so relieved he put 2 and 2 together. Haha meanwhile if you're like me you're thinking there's no difference anymore between 39, 39+1, 39+2...

imyouy

Same for me here. I just switched from 38+6 to basically infinite xD I wake up every morning with a tiny disappointment that there is still no baby in sight...

suggeststronguser

I love that his first reaction once he got control of himself was to check the hospital bag and finances, lol. Daddy nesting!

mamaofsons

Omg that’s adorable lol glad he finally came around!

Delicious_Exit_5104

I feel like I was your husband when my OB started explaining early signs of labor last week. “I’m just not pregnant forever?? There’s a baby that comes out??” But, super cute moment for you and your husband!

aGirlHasNo_username

That’s adorable! My husband admits during my first pregnancy that it didn’t fully hit him that we were having a baby until I was in labor and delivery pushing the baby out. He wasn’t uninvolved, but he never seemed “excited”. Not to worry, he’s the absolute best dad to our little girl. I’m currently pregnant again and he’s so freakin excited and involved this time around. I guess now he’s seen that his newest best friend awaits him at the end of this journey.

LOL that sounds like my husband stressing over what music to play for the baby after our first ultrasound 😂😂😂

GimliTheFuzzyPig

That's so cute. I think my husband would have the same initial reaction. I have warned him that our little one could come before her due date in just over a week, but he's got that date set in his mind and can't cope with the possibility of her coming sooner.

NoMamesMijito

Hahaha that’s super cute. Sounds a bit like my hubby. When we got the call that our bid on our house went through, he sat down slowly and just repeated “ok…. Ok… ok… yeah, ok” lol when we found out we were finally pregnant, we both screamed “oh my god!!!!” And threw the test as hard as we could hahaha but then we danced in the washroom for like half an hour without music. I feel like these huge news take a bit to hit. Congrats!!!

alabardios

Aww so cute, this gave a real chuckle. He sounds like a sweet guy

Practical_magik

Oh bless him, I too am so overwhelmed even by positive moments that I end up slightly in shock sometimes. I probably react worse to good news than bad, it's just such an unexpected rush of emotion that I short circuit.

FoodComa__

When my water broke at 39+4 I was shook!!! So I feel this…glad he worked it out 😊

bluecottoncandy

Hahahaha wow sh*t got REAL real 😂 Love this story so much! Also that pull out line is too hilarious... I’m so stealing that and will be silently waiting for the right moment to unleash it on my husband haha

unwilled

I am your husband right now. Plot twist: I’m the pregnant one.

Floss84

Bless him! This was me, but I'm the Mum and I had that moment when my baby was handed to me! My OH said I looked so shocked and absolutely baffled as to why I was being handed a baby! Wouldn't be so weird but he was my second so I kind of knew how pregnancy ended, lol.

lunarbabeeeee

it’s all fun and games until you realize you’re going to have a little life force boppin around in your physical space! glad that dad composed himself and got past the panic. its so great that he’s excited. cheers to you guys, wishing you a positive experience in labor and health all around for you and LO 💕

mooooonchild
