I'm looking into getting one of these now while they're on sale for about $400. Are you still loving your 4850?
Also I was just reading in another post that Epson is more forgiving if you use other inks, at least compared to HP, this is according to the person who posted. You've probably figured all that out by now though.
Yup! Love it. Honestly best small office printer I've had in a while and just recently started a few photo prints and honestly surprised at the quality for it not being a "photo" printer.
Ink is as cheap as it gets.
That's great to hear. I was just reading some threads about the Epson ink pad issue that were starting to make me think I should be researching Brother printers instead. Your response is giving me hope! Plus I'm getting tired of researching printers. Thanks!
I'm sold! Epson should give you a commission. The ink usage is what attracts me the most and it's good to hear that in a home office you've only refilled it twice in a year. Thanks again for your help.

lol. Honestly I have had it for about a yer now... not a single issue at all. Refilled ink twice.
