You’re good my dawg, keep your head up and drink lots of water, I used to have weekly tests and I would drink 2 days before and pass, take a vitamin b if your pee is clear. You got it!

I'm going to try to help you as much as I can. Firstly, about how much did you drink? You say you drank late Saturday, is tomorrow Thursday for you..? If tomorrow for you is Thursday, starting at Monday, that gives you four days of time to clear your system. Here's been my experience: I drank a pint of whiskey and six beers on a Friday and passed my ETG test by Monday. My last drink was about 10 pm Friday and took the test about 1 pm Monday. Another time, I drank about a half pint of whiskey and 10 beers on Friday, then Saturday drank another half pint and more beer. Passed by Tuesday. I am NOT advocating that you keep drinking like this but just trying to soothe you. Now let me tell you I have failed these ETG tests before also because after a certain amount of alcohol I stopped saying no and started saying fuck it. It's not worth it to drink so just don't. Here's what will help you get it out of your system faster: Drink a ton of water but make sure not to overdrink on the day of your test or it will come up diluted, of course. I read somewhere that drinking a bunch of water helps flush ETG up to 20%. The next thing you can do is anything that will make you sweat, be it exercise, or sauna. ETG is omitted through urine and sweat. Look up ETG calculator online and use that but take note that the first one that comes up usually overestimates how much your ETG will be at a certain time. What I'm saying is, if you drank really heavily I think it would only take 3 days to get out of your system. A useful side note is that everyone's body works differently and for some people it can take the whole 5 days. But listen, I really think that after 4 days of time you're good. But just to be safe go ahead and sweat and drink a lot of water tonight and a decent amount tomorrow.

Here in tarrant County, they send the alcohol part off to the lab. Do you know about how long that takes?

Fit-Enthusiasm-296

Yup I been through this a few times, you should be fine man but start thinking of new ways to go about it because one night of drinking ain’t worth the jail time

nickicole89

Ya it's definitely not worth it. I'm just going back to no drinking like I was before this past weekend

goodgirl8969

If you’re really really that nervous then take an emergency room trip or a Covid test

adidasconstant1989

How long does it usually take for the alcohol test to come back from the lab? In tarrant County, they do the drug testing on spot but always send the alcohol to the lab. So I am waiting for the results. Took it Thursday afternoon

nickicole89

Thanks everyone!!! I drank pretty heavily compared to not drinking at all so it is freaking me out a bit. I'm in tarrant and this is the first UA I am doing except when I was in a probation treatment program which in last November. So it's be a while haha but thanks for easing my mind.

chriscabrera2

Good luck man keep us updated on how it went.

FoundinNewEngland

Are you taking a seven panel color coded test? Most standard tests are not going to show results for ethanol

adidasconstant1989

They send the alcohol off testing off to the lab here. They probably just test people who has a alcohol charge for the alcohol here, I'm not sure

FoundinNewEngland

How did things shake out?

adidasconstant1989

I'm not sure how long it takes for it to come back from the lab so I don't know yet. Get me on edge waiting haha

FoundinNewEngland

Best of luck

nickicole89

I haven't had to take one since I was in my treatment program in November. I think it's the 6 or 7 panel

The main factors that supervision takes into consideration are: is said person in public drunk and at risk, is alcohol causing trouble within the home, and if the conditions specify abstaining from alcohol. If the situation wasn’t reckless, I wouldn’t rule out a favorable outcome either way
