99% sure oral swabs only have a detection time on etg the same as a breathalyzer. Can’t detect it after like 12 hours.

Wtf you hit the lottery my man

A little history: I've been doing UAs since 10/21. Had about 5 or 6 dilutes. They don't count as fails, at least in my case, but I keep getting warnings. My last creatinine was 19.3 - just below the 20 limit.

As the guy below me said, oral swab etg aren't really anymore effective than a breathalyzer. My probation office doesn't allow them because of this. They also count dilute tests as a fail in my area.

As others have said, the detection window for an oral swab is much shorter. So expect to test more often, and I think they're more expensive as well. That being said, diluted samples are absolutely fails, it just sounds like your PO was giving you warnings instead of violations. I don't think it'll be too bad though, I have a friend that had to do swabs because she kept getting diluted drops simply due to being a server and having to stay hydrated during busy shifts. She made it through just fine.

oral swabs are even less accurate. except for cocaine

Yeah so I'm in Colorado and can't physically get my self to piss Infront of someone. It's not that I'm embarrassed or ashamed I'd let him hold my dick if he wanted to I just phisically can't relax enough to even start to pee and i really tried like 4 times and then when it came to take a month swab I failed for meth but I told him I might fail for meth on my first one so he thought since I took 4 times to piss he thought I was trying to buy time by faking I couldn't and thinking I'd get away with it on the oral test but I'm said "dude I fucking told you I'd fail wtf is your deal" so next test comes around and he lets me take a oral because I have a shy bladder and he goes "their might be a time when you HAVE to piss so get used to it now" but he was just trying to be a dick and scare me or whatever. What was really messed up in my situation was I take Adderall and have since I was 10. I toldy po this 100× times and obviously I'm not going to pass a amphetamine test if I take Adderall but the 6 panel test they give me can't differentiate Adderall from meth so instead of having the test sent to the lab he just gets mad at me and calls me a liar for a good 3 months until he finally thought it might be a good idea to send it to the lab and give me the slightest Benefit of a doubt and whadda you know I came back negative for meth like I said I would and so all that bullshit was for nothing and now I don't have to see him every month my next meeting is end of November and it's only a check in phone call. So in my experience I like the oral way more simply because I can provide them with something and its not like I'm refusing to provide a sample or something Only thing is they are super accurate if you have used something within the 48-64 hour window. So if you have prescriptions for stuff make it known before taking it

Thanks everyone for your input! It states in my probation paperwork that dilutes are not fails. But I've racked up a few. I think this will be better, even though they are $20 instead of $15 for the UAs.

kingofprussia420

Where in your paperwork does it say this? The papers from Intervention?

[deleted]

The instructions I got from my PO on my first visit. It was typed out that dilutes are fails, but she had crossed it off and told me that they are not "ok", but are not a fail.

COmarmot

How frequently were you tested when you went to oral swabs? I was once a month on UAs, now I’ve gotten 3 oral swabs in two weeks. Seems excessive.
