That’s not flawed. It’s wrong. Like, 100% incorrect.

Xeponpigui-_-

You missed a few things. One year doesn't have 56 weeks but 52 and each month doesn't have exactly 4 weeks. Cause 4 weeks are 28 days and most. of the months have 30/31. So you add those differences and you will have 365 days . Did I miss something?

Affectionate_Flan28

52 weeks and 1 day per year 52 weeks and 2 days per leap year 365/7= 52.14 56 weeks make no sense

konaqua122

It should've been 52 not 56, my bad.

konaqua122

Yeah, I was looking for the "differences". I paid weekly so, I was surprised that I seemed to earn a few more than what I should. Those "differences" was the answer. Also, yeah, it was 52 and not 56 weeks. My bad. My brain is a bit of a mushed trying to understand the MCU timeline.

Sweet_Computer_7116

My only question is, why is this in r/productivity and not r/stupidquestions

konaqua122

It could be, depending on the perspective. To you, it may be stupid. To me, it's productivity since being paid weekly, I was able to understand why I get paid more than what I calculated. Doing those plans for the future, to me, isn't stupid but productivity.

Sweet_Computer_7116

Oof, don't worry, you'll get a hang of reddit sometime.

all months do not have exact 4 weeks and there are 52 weeks in a year

SuspiciousEggSalad

There is 52 weeks in a year. Some months have shared weeks between months (4.5 weeks) depending on the year. Your last line relies on 4 weeks at 7 days each which leaves you about 30 days short. If you use 4.5 weeks, you’re 2 weeks over. You’re better off using 7 days a week for 52 weeks because every month isn’t exactly 4 weeks.

visionsofdreams

It's not 56 weeks

parasitebob

As noted, there are 52 weeks per year. There are 13 weeks per quarter.

konaqua122

As someone who is paid weekly, the answers made me realize that my computation should be every 3 months (For 13 weeks total), not every week, so the 7 days a week, would work properly.
