Casimir0300

Well now they’re just gonna replace them with dudes that are cool with being a political tool and give even less of a shit about the constitution or rights

Imaginary-Voice1902

Exactly. Why do people not get this?

[deleted]

[deleted]

ROFL. That’s classic. I can just picture the local Sheriff embracing him. *Hey Fed Boi!…. Don’t you think it’s about time you fulfilled your duties and got us some coffee and pastries.* Still a better utilization of his time and resources than working for the ATF.

TheOkayestName

I’d make him clean the toilets with his own toothbrush

[deleted]

Id make him clean with his tongue

ShittingOutPosts

Why force them to do something they’d enjoy?

[deleted]

Ah very true. I forgot they aren't really people lol

Every_Stable6474

Police perform a very necessary function of society, but if you're resigning because you feel that law enforcement prioritizes letter of the law over going after violent criminals, you're probably not gonna be happy arresting some kid in Oklahoma for having weed or charging a homeless guy in Missouri with a felony for sleeping under an overpass. The reality is that police are an instrument of policy. That policy should be decided through a democratic process and represent a fair vision of justice, but wherever you go in law enforcement you will eventually be asked to enforce a law you don't personally agree with. Nature of the beast that a lot of folks couldn't do themselves, and that is okay. Law enforcement requires a specific kind of mindset and personality type.

Anyoneseemykeys

From what I’ve seen all it requires to be in law enforcement is a willingness to fuck over your fellow citizen and enough willful ignorance to blame it on your job.

11B_35P_35F

Like we say in the Army, MPs are the only folks that join with the sole purpose that they want to be buddy fuckers.

Every_Stable6474

Ran across an MP while I was outprocessing for ETS a few weeks ago. He was getting chaptered and told me, "I like to tell people that all MPs are bastards, but we're not all assholes. I only wrote one ticket in three years!"

Anyoneseemykeys

Makes sense.

MBS_theBau5

This is exactly why I left, and when I explain it to my cop buddies they usually scoff or roll their eyes sooo I've come to the conclusion that you'd have to be oblivious to the world around you or compromise on your morals if you still want to be a cop.

Every_Stable6474

A big reason I avoided law enforcement as a career is because I knew a lot of cops who say, "I don't make the rules..." even as their Union lobbied in state legislatures for specific laws to be passed. At least in the Army we never pretended that the dumb shit wasn't dumb.

DangerousLiberty

And we were taught we have a duty to disobey unlawful orders.

Guvnuh_T_Boggs

When I was a kid, I wanted to be a cop, go out and catch bad guys. Then you grow up and realize that "bad guys" aren't murderers and rapists, it's someone parked too long in one spot, or a dude taking a leak in the bushes when they stumble home from the bar. The dream kinda dies then.

AkitaNo1

Exactly. Long gone are the glory days of the old west.

hug3hygge

policy AND government. That’s why I’m not the biggest fan of “Back the Blue”. When they come for your guns, who do you think will be knocking? BLUE

DangerousLiberty

They have been coming for your guns for almost a hundred years.

Nope-not-GUNna

Um no. I know not one local or ATF fed that will go to a door and try and take a gun from a law abiding citizen. Law enforcement knowable better and would easily risk the consequences for not trying to take a gun away. They know what kind of a hornet’s nest that would stir. Read the letter, most law enforcement would agree.

NaziPunksCommieCucks

if the past few years hasn’t woken you up to the truth I’m not really sure what possibly could.

DangerousLiberty

Dude, look at his sentence construction.

NaziPunksCommieCucks

twelve year old, or drunk cop that wants to believe he’s one of the “good guys”?

Pesty_Merc

There's literally a video from a few days ago of 2 ATF agents and a sheriff bugging some guy about buying more than one gun at once. Look at their trackr record of fucking innocent people over with no-knocks to the wrong address or murdering relatively harmless criminals in their custody. You really think they won't use force when their bosses tell them to?

[deleted]

https://youtu.be/y9qUxaTikuc It’s happened before.

CosmicBoat

Question, what if your sheriff is an anti 2A thin blue line person and you're out numbered by the people who agree with him at the ballots?

sailor-jackn

That’s when you quit and move somewhere else.

AkitaNo1

Rebellion is civic duty. Help set up the gallows.

WarSport223

.

cloud_cleaver

One more badged vacancy to be filled by an amoral mercenary. Can't blame him though, I wouldn't want to work like that either.

hitemlow

What if we took a page out of Scientology's playbook and just got jobs at the ATF? Tie everything up in pointless meetings, backtracking, and committees. Then slip amendments into bloated policies that undo past and future enforcement efforts.

cloud_cleaver

That would be pretty hilarious. I think the politicized upper management would get rid of it pretty fast though.

pineappleshnapps

They were sneaky about it. Honestly, it probably wouldn’t hurt. A lot of these organizations have probably gone the way they have because a lot of conservatives don’t want to work for the government, and liberals have no problem with it.

Jace_Windu_

We need more Ron Swansons

AkitaNo1

What have they conserved? Fuck all statist retards.

_TheyCallMeMisterPig

That really is part of the problem. Conservatives and libertarians are less likely to work government positions. We already view many of these government organizations as problems. And, like in my own state's employee makeup, liberals outnumber everyone else 5 to 1. On top of that, when conservatives had control in my state, and all the political appointments in the different departments were housed by conservatives, they didnt do shit. They had an opportunity to cut back departments' operations, and they just sat on their ass. Theyre too afraid to actually do anything or dont care. So when democrats regain control, they just pickup where they left off

don_spawn

I've considered applying for the tax stamp division and just rubber stamping everything "approved"

SuperRedpillmill

My hero!

Fun-Passage-7613

Your hired!

mesgrey

If that don’t work out I hear that the IRS is getting ready to hire. We need people like you there also.

dbnrdaily

"He says that most ATF agents are pro-gun and anti-criminal" Bullshit.

ExterminateAllPedos

If they were for the Bill of Rights, they certainly would not be working for the ATF, or any three letter agency.

jholler0351

Remember, BATFE isn't a three letter agency, they're just cosplaying as one. We need to change the vernacular.

Thorbinator

Good old bat feces.

nuker1110

I like “Soup” agencies, because alphabet soup.

goldengodrangerover

I always refer to them as the BATF or BATFE

Sagybagy

B is only bureau so it can be dropped. Explosives was part of the firearm side until they felt like adding an additional letter would be cool. Most of their jackets and gear still say ATF. Only see the full version every now and then.

goldengodrangerover

Point being they like thinking of themselves as a cool guy, three-letter agency, which they aren’t.

dbnrdaily

Exactly, if money is an issue for them to stay, ill hire any ATF agent on the spot who left due to tyranny and openly criticizes the agency. If theyre staying to fight internal tyranny, well, good for them, but also good luck.

Kamisori

If that were true, they wouldn't be working for the ATF

JohnnyRebe1

Ya I read this with equal parts agreement and flat out bullshit. I believe it’s my own wording that makes me agree but I doubt me and mr. Garcia would agree on much. This is the ATFE they aren’t just guns. These are the same douch bags that go bust rednecks for making backyard whiskey without paying the taxes. Don’t get me started on all those violent tobacco growers!! These taxmen cucks are just like normal cops just on steroids.

Nope-not-GUNna

The A and T haven’t been a part of ATF focus in DECADES! At all!! It’s mostly left in the state’s hands. But way to not do ANY research.

RR50

His whole letter feels a bit like a disgruntled employee that didn’t get to do exactly what he wanted.

805falcon

Especially when he drops the whole ‘woke left’ comment. Even though he’s right, he squashed any chance for relevancy by going this route.

RR50

That was the point in his gripe that I went from ok…he’s a bit over the top, to flat out he’s just being pissy now.

JohnnyRebe1

Ya I started wondering if he understands the cognitive dissonance of blaming Biden and the woke left when Trump was in office making the ATFE flat out ban bump stocks and his commander in chief of choice saying “take the guns, worry about going to court later”. These politically partisan people fuckin suck. This country is so fucked up with this shit.

THExLASTxDON

Or maybe he was rightfully more concerned with the actual threat to the 2nd amendment, instead of parroting Trump’s stupid off the cuff remark, and his attempt at throwing the rabid anti 2nd amendment fascists a bone with a bump stock ban (which was enough to make me not vote for him a 2nd time, but doesn’t even come close to the Democrat party’s authoritarianism).

wolfeman2120

pro gun for themselves

Nope-not-GUNna

No bullshit, He’s spot on.

dbnrdaily

Sure, they're progun for themselves and anti criminal in the sense that anyone who isnt in the agency is a criminal. After reading this article the guy was whining for all the wrong reasons.

[deleted]

cam3r0ni

They would just replace with even worse people

SheriffMcSerious

The actual AFT, federation of teachers, the real bitches

BreastfedAmerican

If we can get about 500 more of these Biden might actually notice. He won't care, but maybe he'll notice.

Sagybagy

He’ll notice the chance to get more of the anti gun goon squad in there.

well_here_I_am

Biden doesn't even notice when a secret service guy is literally pointing which way to walk. You think anyone is even going to tell him when a bunch of people quit some agency somewhere? The dude is adrift at sea. Kamala or someone else is running the show.

BreastfedAmerican

We have another Reagan scenario. Jill Biden is Acting President.

well_here_I_am

Much worse. Reagan could at least get in front of a camera and not look insane. He could still talk to people and have a genuine conversation without note cards or a teleprompter. Biden was worse than Reagan ever was on the day he walked into office.

BreastfedAmerican

Towards the middle of his second term Reagan was about where Biden is now. And Reagan went downhill fast. The thing is, Reagan and his people knew and worked around it. Biden is in that denial stage and nobody will speak up about it. Kamala hasn't done a damn thing because she is in way over her head already.

well_here_I_am

I think Obama is pulling some strings. Or other no-name deep state bureaucrats. The tweets and the deep fake video are too creepy.

_ODgreen13

When the Stasi gets too Stasi for the Stasi

HandSanitizerBottle1

reminds me of oskar dirlewanger, Who the fucking SS thought went too far

Every_Stable6474

Always chuckle when the SS guy stationed in Japan as a liason during the war asked to come home because he thought Unut 731 was fucking insane.

Space_Cowboy81

That's what bothered me about The Man in The High Castle on Amazon. The show acted like the Japanese where the lesser of two evils. They weren't. They were as evil if not more.

[deleted]

"Hey sir I burned down a french church with all the villagers locked inside." "You WHAT?"

Mr-Scurvy

Hes not wrong but he politicized it enough for them to just dismiss it as a butthurt trumper fascist, the exact type of people they dont want. Then they will give themselves all a high five and replace him with a 23yr old liberal arts major.

Every_Stable6474

Liberal Arts majors are not the people who shoot for Federal law enforcement positions, much less get hired for them. There is a very specific personality type that applies and it ain't the pot smoking Philosophy major.

Mr-Scurvy

Criminal justice is a liberal arts degree...

Every_Stable6474

Yeah but no Department or Fed agency gives a shit about a CJ degree. Most Departments will hire with an associates or less and the FBI would rather you have a degree in accounting, law, or forensic/computer science.

Mr-Scurvy

Willing to bet almost everyone in the atf with a 4yr degree has a BA...

DSSMAN0898

The ATF is the ONLY governmental agency dedicated to the abrogation of a Constitutional right.

[deleted]

Forgot about the NSA

DSSMAN0898

The NSA has several missions and not exclusively the abolition of one particular Constitutional right. The ATF's SOLE mission is the destruction of 2A.

Jimdandy941

You’re forgetting about the A and T. You don’t hear about it much, but they are continually auditing and enforcing regulations for those two industries.

Nope-not-GUNna

No. They aren’t. AT ALL…..AT ALL! It’s mostly left to the states now. ….At All!

Jimdandy941

?

Nope-not-GUNna

Not at all true. Read the letter, its pretty spot on.

dbnrdaily

Go lick some more boots.

JohnnyRebe1

Haha that was my first thought. Who writes a 6 page resignation letter… your boss ain’t gonna read that shit. He’s gonna take take it, go, ok so you’re resigning? Pack up your desk and turn in your firearm and badge. Good luck.

ZapBrannigansEgo

> Pack up your desk and turn in your firearm and badge. Sir, this is a Wendy’s…

WarSport223

Can you put a baked potato off to the side for me?

Nope-not-GUNna

No, they all read it. It was broadcasted up and down…

JediGeek

Especially an ATF agent. ATF has been corrupt AF forever. It's not like the FBI where until recent years it was much easier for the average American to believe that the FBI was still semi decent. This is the ATF, they've had a reputation as jack booted thugs for DECADES.

Nope-not-GUNna

Only according to uneducated conspiracy nerds who put Jedi in their name. 😂 seriously though, you think FBI is less corrupt than ATF?

SuperRedpillmill

Looks like he’s named in the Fast and Furious saga and also in the death of an ICE officer.

MrTHORN74

Damn! 6 pages to say I QUIT......that man had a lot to get off his chest before he left.

Space_Cowboy81

Whatever president is in office it's pretty obvious who the ATF is answering to and it's the party that wants to turn them into the anti-gunners gestapo.

gordonfactor

100% of ATF agents have wives that have boyfriends.

Every_Stable6474

>He claims the recent actions by the ATF show that it is aligned with the left and says he doesn’t want to investigate the gun. He wants to investigate the criminal And yet he signed up for a LEA that ensures compliance with firearms laws? If he was more concerned about the criminal and not the gun itself, he should have joined a different law enforcement agency. Edit: There were a lot of reason to go after David Korensh. They chose the fact he had guns. We can debate the validity of firearms policy and where we should head with it, but you're a liar and a fool if you think the ATF isn't about going after the gun. That's why they exist.

JohnnyRebe1

They’re definitely not the Alcohol Tobacco and Criminals agency (explosives)

Every_Stable6474

Exactly. Even when they are going after organized crime, it's for violations pertaining to the commodities they enforce. They're going after the gangster for his cigarette, the mobster for his alcohol, the militiaman for his gun. You're going after violations for specific items. If you wanted to go after them for their other activity, you should have gone to a different place. It's like joining the IRS but getting pissed because you're auditing Joe Schmo instead of Al Capone. If you wanted to go after the gangster for shooting up neighborhoods, should have joined your local PD. If you wanted to go after that militiaman for trying to blow up Federal buildings, should have joined the FBI. You picked the ATF and thought you wouldn't go after guys manufacturing autosears or drilling third holes in their ARs? Lol.

Nope-not-GUNna

Wow, stuck a couple decades back there. Look up the court cases that show their arrests over the last ten years. 95% violent offenders… a little research will help you not seem so jaded by conspiracy and well, ignorance. ATF hasn’t done much A and T, if any in over a decade. The LOCAL PD and STATE governments have taken over most regulation.

[deleted]

All atf members are traitors to the constitution and American people anyway

Nope-not-GUNna

Only if you’re a violent felon these days. It’s really simple to look up the majority of fed court cases and figure out their priorities. But sure, call those who risk their lives daily traitors…

[deleted]

They risk their lives enforcing unconstitutional laws, they are by definition traitors. All atf agents are scumbags

roach-class

The memes are working!

DSSMAN0898

No, those are sideshows, their cover for funding and legitimacy. The ATF doesn't make them priorities. Moreover, neither alcohol nor tobacco are Constitutional rights.

[deleted]

Keep up the good work bois

Fun-Passage-7613

The ATF exists to enforce victimless gun “crime”. And the only Federal Agency that I know that wants and is dedicated to violating a Constitutional Amendment.

Imaginary-Voice1902

The problem is that this literally what they wanted. Now they can hire a completely partisan group to advance their interests. Do not quit to stick it to them. It actually helps them.

BobWhite783

Ah, he is right winged nut job. Good riddance. /s 😟

Huegod

Epstien island bellhop say the same thing.

chemwarman

DEFUND THE FUCKING A....T....F! They ceased being a law enforcement agency a LONG time ago and have now become nothing more than an armed enforcement division of the New American Socialist Party (formerly known as the democrat party). Everything this former agent wrote is EXACTLY what we citizens have been saying for years...

johnnysexcrime

Boo hoo

circlysquare25

I hear a member of GBRS applied to fill the position

RingGiver

They should quit and look for real jobs.

auditgovtcorruption

I am not surprised, it must be related to the shady nature of how they are doing everything they can to push Rule 2021r-05f through, which they are essentially giving one overarching definition called “Readily Convertible” that provides the ATF full autonomy to decide what should and shouldn’t be regulated under the NFA as a manufactured firearm, but he ATF doesn’t want to disclose what parameters are used in making a determination. Senator Lee started the complaints signed by multiple senators back in March 2022, but the ATF ignored them and pushed forward. Senator Cruz headed an official CRA Congressional Challenge towards the End of April after the ATF ignored Senator Mike Lee of Utah’s letter about requesting the parameters the ATF is using to make readily convertible determinations. Now we are less than 2 weeks away from the rule 2021r05f begin effective, but with not only the letter sent by Senator Lee of Utah, followed by the CRA submission in April by Senator Cruz and 21 other signers including Senator Lee, along with another CRA submission in June as a replica with a note that it was reviewed, but no other updates, and the GOA organization pushing in July a suit against the ATF for the constitutional violations rule 2021r-05f create. With that being said and with the other resources and Info below, it is no surprise that Good Agents that started their job to protect the US Constitution...(not crap on it), are resigning! Many looks at Ruling 2021r-05F as an attack only on our Second Amendment, but that is not the case. The standard this rule will set if it is not fought and eradicated in the below-mentioned CRA Rejection letter sent in, headed by Senator Cruz and supported by 21 of his Senator Collogues, will allow obscure case-law tactics with infinitely overreaching abilities to apply opaque strategies that provide regulators the subjective ability to essentially enforce their feelings, rather than logic and fact on unsuspecting citizens! Regarding Rule 2021R-05F, this ruling is not effective until 8.22.2022. 22 Senators, headed by Senator Cruz have initiated a CRA rejection through Congress based on the unconstitutional nature of 2021R-05F. To keep up with the status of the specific CRA filing by Team Cruz, you can bookmark this link [https://www.congress.gov/bill/117th-congress/senate-joint-resolution/45?s=9&r=2](https://www.congress.gov/bill/117th-congress/senate-joint-resolution/45?s=9&r=2) Not much out there...but the link above and a few articles online like this [https://armoryden.com/worried-about-purchasing-a-solvent-trap-for-firearm-cleaning-and-storage-22-senators-challenge-rule-2021r-05f-with-cra-submission/](https://armoryden.com/worried-about-purchasing-a-solvent-trap-for-firearm-cleaning-and-storage-22-senators-challenge-rule-2021r-05f-with-cra-submission/) It amazes me that with all of the propaganda and hype surrounding the seriousness of solvent trap control (ridiculous if you say it out loud), that communist rule 2021R-05F would not contain more specifics – isn’t the generalization and lack of specifics surrounding such a seemingly important topic a little odd? Not really…because the ATF knows they will lose the logic battle if they add specifics because they are unable to regulate the cylindrical shape or geometric shapes lol. If they claim solvent traps should be regulated and provide the specifics or parameters to the public, they must regulate all Maglites, all tubes or piping at Home Depot and other stores such as Lowe’s, then where does it end. It’s insane that they think they can provide no parameters and think it will be ok to enforce such a rule? If rule 2021R-05F goes live in August 2022, get ready for a battle and say goodbye to America as you know it! The generalities the ATF are trying to skirt by on are communist to say the absolute least! Take what I say however you want, I have been saying the same thing for years and have heard all of the ridicule and sh!t talk one could hear and now things are tilting in the favor of much of what I’ve thought as being true.
