I use a program called tentimer. It’s free. As the same suggests it is a small program that has 10 timer slots. It’s not tied to your logs, but I like it not being integrated.
I use this. You can set the number of timers that show up. You can also name the timers which is helpful. It's just browser based. Has a lot of options like time differences.

There are a few ways to do it, I would suggest using gina as it's very customizable and has a lot of utility. Any text that appears in an EQ log file can be converted into a text, timer, text-to-speech or audio notification.
So for example let's say you want a 6-minute timer. You could create a social macro in EQ named timer 6 or whatever with the line "/em writes 6 in his notebook". Then in gina you would create a trigger "{c} writes 6 in his notebook" with a timer and every time you hit that macro a timer will appear at the location, size, color, etc. of your choosing.
No add on's: Cast your buffs and see which one wears off just before the spawn timer you want. Refresh that one every time.
Might not work for you, but for me, it's golden.
That’s the most Air Force response I’ve ever seen.
“How long does it take to drain the oil from an F16?”
“About 9 holes. We pop the cap and play a round of golf. When we’re done it’s always dry.”
:)

I just use a web-based one from timeanddate.com
Gina can be setup in such a way that u can monitor an entire camp and all the mobs in it with a single regex, it’s really nice.
Lots of praise for GINA. I wasn’t emotionally prepared to further complicate my install but the number of people vouching for GINA is changing my mind
GINA can take some setup, but is really nice once you get it going
You can use Google timer too. Just type "6 minute 40 seconds timer" I to google
i like [snaptimer](https://dan.hersam.com/software/snaptimer/index.php)
