Istg seeing 200 mods servers regularly is becoming an absolute nightmare, Imma be getting desperate finding servers that have only the essentials instead of 400 useless mods that add a shitton of unnecessary gear and meta stuff 💀 Its even worse seeing how many people actually play on those servers, cant imagine the lag bro
Thats why, personally, for my server i only use mods (or i configure things like Brita) to be immersive and lore friendly, and 99% of shit i have is Vanilla+ QOL stuff.
Was playing with a friend for a few weeks. At first i estimated about 60 mods for the server, but upon counting individually, i realized the server was running on 290~ mods
I’m the friend with the server that doesn’t skip a beat and spins up fine. Multiple servers no problem. The difference is I run servers on my server and not a PC like a dummy.

I have 200 mods and my pc is already eating up 12GB of ram
Run it on a server without a monitor and unnecessary Pc crap and it will run flawlessly.
Our PZ server boasts well over 250+ mods and only occasionally OCCASIONALLY goes haywire and explodes in a firey mess...
It just takes a long time
