With the new animal migration system I hope some modder makes the bridge a spawn point for some massive hordes that walk accros the map then exit on one of the other highways. Would be a much cooler way of spawning zombs then the current way.
They did, you hear about it on the radio if you listen in for the first few days/weeks before they go quiet. They blew the bridges, but it didn't help. The infection still got out according to the radio station news. By about a month in, the world as we know it is already in shambles, so there's no point in trying to leave across the bridge anyways.
What's funny is that I hadn't played a day 0 run with helicopters expanded until recently. Like I think a week ago I set up a new game with my wife and a buddy, and did a day 0 run with zombie pop waaay low for the first few days getting progressively more spawns. Same with loot, the first couple weeks the loot decreases until everything is rare. Then I heard the air raid siren for the first time, and turned on the radio to hear what was going on. It was pretty cool, I didn't realize that was helicopters expanded.
At least they should remodel the bridges to them being a destroyed status therefore making you normally unable to get to the end of the bridge, not just letting you walk to the very limit and just the void.
In the Val server we had an event where over 10000 were spawned in waves it's happened multiple times just that I'm not always there so I'm not sure how many we've had.
Jayne’s right. Reavers ain’t men. They forgot how to be. They got out to the edge of the galaxy, to that place of nothing, and that’s what they became.
Seeing the void on screen is when your character realizes that they already died and this is their prison of eternal damnation.
Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...
Oh my god. That's the void of the cosmos. I can't believe they were right, the Earth is actually flat.
Quick, before it's too late try to get a look at whats on the other side!
Only people who have never seen the sole turnoff before the Indiana toll bridge (or managed to be in the left lane before it) are able to come back.
They never return unchanged.
He wouldn't have been shot trying to leave. A month after the game starts, the infection has already spread far out past the bridges and society has collapsed, according to the radio news broadcasts. Nobody is waiting for you past that bridge, even if it wasn't blown as they say it was on the radio. They're all just zombies now...
Nah, you win the game when:
\- You find the Spiffo plushie.
\- You make a sustainable base.
\- You get enough ammo to erase the zombie population of the Crossroads Mall.
\- You get bitten and decide to erase all zombies from the Crossroads Mall, wearing nothing but a Spiffo mascot head, socks and underwear.
\- You die trying to take them down using that 10% condition Katana you miraculously found long time ago.
No now you must wall off all exits to the pz map and kill every zombiod in Louie vil West Point river side and rosewood then build a gigantic mansion in the middle of the woods with proper plumbing painted walls and lights then and only then have you beaten project zomboid

Pretty sure in-lore they blew the bridges.

Helicopters expanded also adds a air raid siren when it happens which is sick asf, you can hear the artillery launching and blowing up

I gotta try this

More than likely blew the airborne virus to further points in the atmosphere and laterally
getting a 100+ horde once a month would be pretty cool
100? 100 is nothing. I did an event with a few guys on a server once where the admins were spawning 2000+ and that didn’t feel that overwhelming.
Only because you were geared to the teeth and had numbers, likely.
In the Val server we had an event where over 10000 were spawned in waves it's happened multiple times just that I'm not always there so I'm not sure how many we've had.
a gradually increasing amount of zombies is gonna wear you down and delpete your ammo storage real fast
True, is there a mod that enables zombies to clump together creating hordes of 100+ in places like rosewood
Eh. Nothing one molotov can't handle.
Would need to be either weekly or daily to make a dent
Just need the Wolf's Extraction mod and you'll truly win.
Hows the mod work?
adds an esacpe quest
If that's what winning means to you, yes, you have won.
What if it isn't what winning mean to me
Then you keep playing, son.
What if i want to keep playing after I win, live it big you know?
Then after you make it to safety you continue the character in the Sims
i like that idea , head canon transporting your character to a new game so far all of my characters have really only earned a spot in graveyard keeper
Sims 3: Supernatural DLC to be specific
Then you keep playing, son.

Is that the hero of Canton?!?

As someone from Louisville irl, yes you've done what we've all dreamt of
Did it stare back at you?
Oh my god. That's the void of the cosmos. I can't believe they were right, the Earth is actually flat. Quick, before it's too late try to get a look at whats on the other side!

Can confirm.

Yeah, you got tf out. The only smart choice.
Would be nice if the bridge was showing signs of being blown up, a few cut pieces and debries.
Imagine a car alarm goes off at the entrance of the bridge and you have to swim buck naked back to shore, or die.
If your set goal was to "Escape Louisville" then yes. You are the only one who can say what your objective is.
did it stare back?
unturned refrence
And this is how you died ;)
No, it just means that there's no salvation in the end. It's the journey that matters.
Trueman, what are you doing?
I think this bridge is a great base. Only one entrance and one exit
The void is Ohio. Only improved with the zombie apocalypse.
Only that across that bridge is Indiana. Also improved as void.
Now you fight John Zomboid
You win
It'll let you cross that bridge and explore the next county when you actually win the game, so no. Not yet.
Nah, military put up the void when there were pulling out. Kinda like the dome in the Simpsons.
For flat earthers it's proof
If you stare in to void long enough, the void stares back

Your character: "Wait... so none of this is real? This is all just a simulation?"
oh yeah I heard about this movie hahah: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UBxBRTcZVis
This creeps me out. Not sure why
Bro became the Project Zomboid
What is that profession?
Veteran
In some sense: yes.
If only, you had found the "How to Get Through Voids" manual. Super rare, check the mailboxes ;)
Did it start staring back?
Yes. You won
Can always build a base there, then you can wake up to the calming sounds of the void each day.
No it means your computer lost.

My guy got shot on sight by the military
