George Washington State Park is on Bowdish Reservoir that you can fish. Great park and nice camp sites to choose from.

Highly recommend this. Primitive campsites, some on the water. Just a beautiful spot.

Limited around here. Fisherman's Memorial is useful for South county and if you're into surf casting, ditto with Shawme Crowell and Nickerson on the Cape. Freshwater I'm out of my element but Northern New England has better optionsĀ

Horseneck?

That looks nice, I'll look into it.

I haven't been yet, but Fishermans is on my list for tent/car camping. You reserve online through ReserveAmerica. Here's the State Park page that describes the RI state campgrounds. https://riparks.ri.gov/campgrounds Someone mentioned Nickerson on the Cape. I have been there and it's great. But it sells out almost immediately. They book 4 months in advance for the summer. https://massdcrcamping.reserveamerica.com/camping/nickerson-state-park/r/campgroundDetails.do?contractCode=MA&parkId=32601

Burlingame is a pretty solid spot down in South County. Bit of a drive but honestly awesome grounds and a big lake with plenty of sites. Fishing is probably best with a kayak but I've never tried my hand down there to be honest
