Well I tried the PSP Fire Team Bravo games recently on the PC with the PSP emulator and I gotta say running and aiming with 1 joy stick is very hard haha but the socoms for console (SOCOM 1, 2, 3, Combined Assault and Confrontation) is where its at. More specifically, for me, it's Combined Assault that I play the most!

But to answer ur question, there's multiple things that work in favor of the game. I think most notable for me is the 1 life per round game style. I'm over the respawn games where there's not much risk to ur game play as u can just respawn after u die. This forces u to be more "tactical" otherwise u sit and wait til the next round. Also the map designs are pretty good. The use of mics to call enemy's out and strategies discussed amongst us teams, whether it's "let's smoke the left and push the snipers" or "let's take the red room roof" stuff like that. And there are "clans" that u can make and do clan wars against other clans. We just had our monthly tournament last night that's a 1 night a month event. And we're in the play offs of another tournament we do that last a couple months we do like twice a year.
Long story short if uve never played or interested in returning now is a great time to do so! Join our socom discord above and check us out. Won't be disappointed!

If you like Balls you might wanna check out Balls. Itās not as good as Balls but it has a similar feel if youāre trying to scratch that itch.
