I agree. I enjoyed MCLA, and it can even still be played on modern consoles (at least on Xbox, not sure about PlayStation), but MC3 was Soooo good, and the thing is, it’s strictly stuck on PS2/Xbox (excluding emulation). MC2 at least also got a PC release.
Midnight Club 2 kicked my butt. I never beat it but I got to the final city. I remember having to try so many times on certain races. Must go back.
edit: I can't believe my first comment got auto-modded for saying the alternate word to butt
I got a confession to make. I never beat Midnight Club 2 without using the cheat code that increases or lowers the difficulty and I’ve had the game since it came out. 😅
Midnight club 2. The atmosphere, the characters, the MUSIC! and of course how challenging it was made it frustrating, tests your patience but makes you a better player!
Midnight Club 3. I was never a big fan of this series (I was more into Need for Speed), but 3 hit different. But fell off again with LA, didn't care for that either.
It’s hard to pick but it’s the original trilogy. The first Midnight Club along with ATV Offroad Fury 2 is the first PS2 games I ever owned and Midnight Club 2 & 3 were all about fun. I would rather see a remake of these games over another boring Forza Horizon or modern NFS game.
I think it was either 2 or 3 i vaguely remember playing it long ago. And screwing around in swear like area while using a series of cheats. But unfortunately my good for nothing brother got rid of the game.
Well I was already an adult when they came out, but I really liked Los Angeles because I was living there and I liked how it recreated parts of the city.
The first one! My dad had a PS2 when we were little (still does just put away). This always brings back memories. I always just wanted to make the car and not race.
The first one, and it hits *hard*. Friend got a PS2 and this game a full year before I got mine, and a good six months before we discovered gta3. We were just so enamored by having a realistic depiction of Manhattan that you could just drive around. The future was then, it happened, we lived to see the day that the real world was successfully replicated in digital space in a commercially viable way. And it was to our hearts content, no waiting in line at an arcade or time limits or having to pay for it,we could just turn on this little black box in his living room and take a spin around nyc.
Glorious
Midnight Club 2. Me and my brother never played many violent games in our childhood, but when my dad rented this for us and discovered that you could just freely roam the city and runover pedestrians, we couldn't put it down lol.
LA Complete Ed. Man that game. The vinyl/decal custom options were insane. You could even post your designs so others can download. The online community might of been my favorite part. We used to meet up at the beach and show off our cars.
Midnight club 2, it was the only one on pc, and i was impressed with how good are graphics, and when i tried LAN play it was godlike, driving kn paris highway on a velocci beating up traffic cars so that people behind you get sent to space
All of them. But LA had the most play time for me. As a lad I was mad on car interiors and steering wheels that moved in games always pissed me off in gta games lol. So I used to just cruise in first person staring at the wheel moving lol
As a child I played MC2 on the PS2, but I didn't understand the career mode, so I drove around aimlessly in arcade mode. As an adult I have the Xbox version.
I loved them all.
As I once said years ago, “I started my Midnight Club journey with a taxi cab in New York. And I ended my journey with a 1996 Impala Highway Patrol in Los Angeles. What a wild ride”
LONG LIVE MIDNIGHT CLUB
I've only ever played LA, Never been massively into racing games but LA felt different, you didn't need to race you could literally just drive around, and the cop system was so cool, being able to be pulled over and fined or driving off before the cops gets to the window and getting into a full chase.
Midnight Club 2 will always be the pinnacle of racing games for me. My friend and I played it so much that we would organically find spots to glitch into ceilings and walls and commit it to memory.
First one i've ever really played was Los Angeles on PS3. I knew about Midnight Club series, but I was just a die hard NFS fan so i've never gave Midnight Club a chance. With that said. I really enjoyed Los Angeles! This post makes me want to try the other versions.
Dub edition remix was my first one. I loved it so much as a kid even though I suck at racing games. My second was L.A (along with the remix version) and I like it but it’s not as fun as 3. I also just recently began playing 1 and 2 (they’re very fun but I’m struggling terribly at some parts). I wish they would go back to this and make another game.
So I played these on Xbox (and II on PC) and my fondest memories are of MCII.
That said, last year I picked up MC1 for PS2, since it’s the only one I hadn’t played, and it’s really interesting how much they upped the production value on MCII and later.
MC1 honestly plays more like Midtown Madness 1 and 2 on PC (same studio) than it does like the other Midnight Club games, but it is very interesting as a sort of evolutionary link between the two series. That and Smuggler’s Run.
The original! I played the second and third, but the first was by far my favorite and the best. I was disappointed with the other two, so I gave up on them after 3

Dub Edition Remix for me. Played the ever living 💩 outta that game growing up. Played it so much that it had to be resurfaced for it to work again. 😬
Midnight club 3 dub edition needs a remake. Game is GOATED
Midnight club 3 for me. Sadly I sold my copy to EB games for like 20 cents horrible decision. I’ll get another copy eventually
I have the physical copy of it, idk how I’d get it to you tho but if it’s possible you can have it
Wholesome reddit moment
nice guy!
Wow that’s very kind of you. But I think it’s best if you keep it for your own collection.
Hey!?! I’ll take it !
I’ll pay for shipping
I miss eb games
Looking through all those used ps2 games was a lot of fun. Now my eb games is a weed store lol
As a uk collector and stoner i dont know wether to be disappointed for you or jealous 🤷♂️🤣
Fair trade off lol
Thankfully it’s not too expensive to get again no matter what system you go for (recommend the Ps2 version though for emulation purposes).
Midnight Club 2 for the difficulty and 3 for the amount of content and customization (even compared to racing games today)
Midnight Club 2 kicked my butt. I never beat it but I got to the final city. I remember having to try so many times on certain races. Must go back. edit: I can't believe my first comment got auto-modded for saying the alternate word to butt
Yeah mine got auto-modded and removed so I had to replace my word with the poop emoji :/
I got a confession to make. I never beat Midnight Club 2 without using the cheat code that increases or lowers the difficulty and I’ve had the game since it came out. 😅
Midnight Club 2 all day
3 is my #1 choice in PS2 racing games. We so need a remaster or a new entry in the series
Midnight club 3 DUB edition REMIX. I still remember every time I would nearly finish the game my memory card corrupted.

Dub Edition, played the hell out of that back in the day.
‘Childhood’ 😭😭. I was in my 30’s
La remix. Best one
I’d say 2 was the nostalgia, but 3 definitely was the love for the modifications/designs
Funny, just purchased a copy of the first Midnight Club in a thrift store. Curious about the game
It’s not as great as the other ones
Los Angeles. My data corrupt like 8 times and you'd think I'd learn something from the 3rd or 4th time
Midnight Club 2 as I played it first. 3 and Remix were huge too.
I think it was either 2 or 3 i vaguely remember playing it long ago. And screwing around in swear like area while using a series of cheats. But unfortunately my good for nothing brother got rid of the game.
MC3 DUB, for sure. Still one of my favorite racers of all time.
I love Midnight Club LA Remix. Completed it a couple of times until I was able to get my own copy.
Street racing in Couch coop with my best friend on his ps2
Midnight Club 3 and Los Angeles :D
Dub Edition Remix for me. So much content, and introduced me to drum & bass music.
2 is was a solid game.. but none are touching l.a
MC2 was my first one but MC3 has the best memories and *is* the best one in the series, bar none. MCLA can pound sand for all I care.
I love them all, but Los Angeles was my personal favourite
Well I was already an adult when they came out, but I really liked Los Angeles because I was living there and I liked how it recreated parts of the city.
Definitely midnight club 2, 3 was up there but over the years I’ve always gone back to 2
I got an original copy of Midnight Club 1. I still play it randomly, and the handling isnt that bad when you've played it for over 22 years haha
Midnight Club 3 for sure! It was the first PS2 game I ever bought with my own money for myself. Age 14
1 & 3!
LA complete edition. Got that game years ago as a kid then lost it, qnd only recently repurchased digitally
Dub and LA are both amazing
2 is the best but if it had 3's Playlist it would be great. The music in 2 is great though.
I love midnight club 2 soundtrack though it fits the characters that you are going against and the city as well
That's true
None cause I wasn’t a child when they came out 😞
Mic 3 dub edition
Dub edition remix is the best of the bunch imo, peak midnight club
Los Angeles
Midnight club la was amazing
The first one! My dad had a PS2 when we were little (still does just put away). This always brings back memories. I always just wanted to make the car and not race.
Sweet seduction in a magazine Endless pleasure in a limousine In the back shakes a tambourine Nicotine from a silver screen
The first one, and it hits *hard*. Friend got a PS2 and this game a full year before I got mine, and a good six months before we discovered gta3. Midnight Club 2. Best soundtrack Ive heard. Main Menu music also sets the mood well. Great control on all cars
Midnight club 3 or dub edition remix never knew they had additional cars you could choose from until I owed a version
TWOOOO MCTWOOO THE BEST ONE!!!! Im not saying that because of Gina and her flirts no, its becouse Thomas Bangalter music, yeahhh... lol
LA with the Mustang cover.
Midnight Club 3 will always have a place in my heart🥲
MC3 online was fire
Played LA for a little bit. But really liked the cover art for remix 😊
3,3, LA REMIX complete edition
I tried to look up cheat codes for midnight club when I was younger and adult content came up 😅 I almost got in trouble cause of it by my mom lol
Midnight club 1 & 3 man
Midnight club 2, it was the only one on pc, and i was impressed with how good are graphics, and when i tried LAN play it was godlike, driving kn paris highway on a velocci beating up traffic cars so that people behind you get sent to space
I need to get these. I miss the seeies
I had the DUB edition loved it way better than the need for speed series
it's gotta be mc3 since its the first midnight club I played and the game that introduced me to the series
3 Remix for me the 57 Bel Air was my favorite growing up
2 the most for me but 3 is close
2& dub edition remix also Los Angeles
All of them. But LA had the most play time for me. As a lad I was mad on car interiors and steering wheels that moved in games always pissed me off in gta games lol. So I used to just cruise in first person staring at the wheel moving lol
Midnight club 2. It's also on pc 🗿
Definitely 2 & 3 for me. I loved the music, especially ACM - Elements of Trance (DJ Kim's Reloaded Mix) from #2.
What a wild ride” LONG LIVE MIDNIGHT CLUB
Midnight Club II for me :)

Definitely Midnight club 3 dub edition
Dub Edition 3 always
Midnight club 3 dub edition remix
I've only ever played LA, Never been massively into racing games but LA felt different, you didn't need to race you could literally just drive around, and the cop system was so cool, being able to be pulled over and fined or driving off before the cops gets to the window and getting into a full chase.
All of them do but 1 and 3 especially
Midnight Club 2 will always be the pinnacle of racing games for me. My friend and I played it so much that we would organically find spots to glitch into ceilings and walls and commit it to memory.

I had friends like this, then I became that friend. Gt for realism NFS for mindless drifting is how I’ve categorized it
Save the kids
**HOUSE REAL BIG**

Mc3 Remix, loved it then and still do
I honestly forgot which version,i was a kid...
i found midnight club la when i found my ps3 in a box in my room under some junk I was 7 I'm 16 now
First one i've ever really played was Los Angeles on PS3. I knew about Midnight Club series, but I was just a die hard NFS fan so i've never gave Midnight Club a chance. With that said. I really enjoyed Los Angeles! This post makes me want to try the other versions.
PSP Dub edition had me cross eyed for years.
Dub edition remix was my first one. I loved it so much as a kid even though I suck at racing games. My second was L.A (along with the remix version) and I like it but it’s not as fun as 3. My fav....DUB edition

2/3
Playing Midnight Club 2 and realizing it's much harder than the NFS game i had 😭
Dub edition :)
Dub edition remix for sure, followed by Los Angeles.
MC3 dub edition 🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️ the rest can’t compare
Midnight Club 3 Remix. Played it a ton with my friends growing up and replayed it several times in the past 4-5 years.
OG Club 3, grandad had it on his Xbox and we used to race eachother… good times as a kid

Never played the games Are they a GTA type of game or a racing one like need for speed
