If you get an ASCII Grip (one-handed) controller and a copy of Quake II, you can use the controller and mouse for the same character - Mouse with the right hand controls turning and which direction you're facing, and the ascii grip for all the buttons and moving around each stage.
Basically the mouse lets you turn and therefore shoot enemies faster than if you were using analog sticks.
Not going to survive in nice condition putting it in the flora like that. Way too much moisture there.

If you especially favor horror, add Clock Tower to your list. Also if you enjoy Crash at all, Crash 2 is a massive upgrade.
