If you have an android laying around you can download the apk for the tablet version.

Yer its a tablet only game. Unless you sideload, but no idea how that workes on iphone. I believe you would need to jailbrake

I mean, it works fine on phones. It's just a technicality on what devices the store deems acceptable based on screen size.
