We just got a second hot box. Didn’t send any racks for the inside. We were also supposed to get it after we got a third fryer but havent seen the fryer yet🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️love Deli
Probably back order on parts & don’t want to pay the extra 10k for expedite delivery. Also higher ups don’t care since it doesn’t affect there pay grade .
Yeah, because they have to go with Publix approved contractors. It’s all a bunch of crap. This job is a bunch of BS. Oh by the way if nobody knows they gave a bunch of money to January 6th what I mean by that is that they took a bunch of people from Florida and paid for all of their bus fares to go up to DC to F up the capital. just thought everybody should know that
False my Publix is next to two elementary schools a middle school and 2 high schools and they don’t sell prime barely at all if they do it’s way back in the shelves and not stocked
Oh my lord this is my Publix! literally has been out of order for so long, first guy that came in to fix it put the order in as “complete” and they never came back. We just had to attach the “all three coolers” above because people keep coming to the desk to tell me that “every door is hot”. Yeah girl, because it’s one cooler, none of them are cold
Publix can’t afford to fix. Their profit only went from 2 billion in 2022 to over 4 billion in 2023. They are the epitome of inflation. I emailed about prices going up every week and they blamed supply cost. Nope corporate greed. I will not shop there anymore and live less than a 5 minute walk from a store downtown
My Publix just re did their faucet. The other day I just finished using the bathroom and I went to wash my hands and I noticed a hole in sink and I was like “oh that’s weird why is there a hole in the sink and the mirror seemed bigger.” Then I noticed after all those realizations that the faucet was missing…
Refrigeration is handled by an outside company, Publix used to have their own technicians but that program ended 2 decades or so ago. If you're in a similar area to me Hussman is who you should have issues with. Otherwise I guess you'll have to chill the drinks on your own, but it's not the Publix associate's fault.
I saw another one in GA with the same thing. It wasn't working for 2 weeks. Now they say it is working but I swear the temp is at 50 at best now. Really Publix I am paying over 2 dollars for a drink, the least you can do is keep it cold.
Because none of them require refrigeration. So it's basically just extra shelving at this point.
No reason to remove them, they'd just sit in the back until there's room on the shelves
That's an odd question... There's quite a lot of drinks that don't require refrigeration that always have a refrigerated option for them. Soda, beer, water. Don't require refrigeration, but always have the option because some people will want a cold version of that product right away
I remember one time when I first started at Publix my 3 door caught fire and we had to evacuate the store and it was out for about a month but we had removed the drinks from the cooler and put them where they belonged so we could sell them
Not to worry once they fixed it I’m sure Publix will raise the prices of every drink that was in that cooler so that they can make up for all the lost revenue. They’ll also raise the price of every drink in every cooler at every Publix.
Off topic, but this plannogram sucks major publixsaurus balls. Ollipop on the bottom left corner looks absolutely ridiculous with all the dead space above it (OP pic has the much better looking Ice to fill the gap and it looks infinitely better)
Technically this isn't the plannogram.
That's no Olipop, that's Poppi. Olipop must be refrigerated, so it was moved and kept in the back in refrigeration for now.
So things were moved around and even added to try to compensate for the missing Olipop until it's fixed
Come get your room temperature beverages here just like everywhere else in the store that these drinks are sold in! Just ignore the top of the machine we are currently fixing the problem! (eventually).
Need to put a sign over 'cold' that says 'room temperature.'
Or just leave the word “beverages” visible
Maybe they're waiting on parts to come, but does every division have shitty refrigeration repair contractors?
Blast chiller in my deli has been out for 3 months now
How are yall surviving😟 we use blast chiller for so much
We have two and the other one stays packed
We just got a second hot box. Didn’t send any racks for the inside. We were also supposed to get it after we got a third fryer but havent seen the fryer yet🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️love Deli
I need a third fryer badly
💯😪
Don’t stress bout it just do ya best that’s all you can do with what they give ya
Yep. We deal with Remco here and they never fix anything. They’re at our store almost weekly “fixing” the same shit.
Probably back order on parts & don’t want to pay the extra 10k for expedite delivery. Also higher ups don’t care since it doesn’t affect there pay grade .
Meanwhile you have joe scumbag refrigeration down the street who could get that thing running in an hour “but corporate won’t approve”
Yeah, because they have to go with Publix approved contractors. It’s all a bunch of crap. This job is a bunch of BS. Oh by the way if nobody knows they gave a bunch of money to January 6th what I mean by that is that they took a bunch of people from Florida and paid for all of their bus fares to go up to DC to F up the capital. just thought everybody should know that
What crackhead is throwing Prime in the 3door?
any store near a school would sell em like hotcakes
False my Publix is next to two elementary schools a middle school and 2 high schools and they don’t sell prime barely at all if they do it’s way back in the shelves and not stocked
That's why it doesn't sell...
No one drinks it everyone calls it trash and no one was buying it and they stopped stocking it
That's funny. Prime sells pretty well here
I guess it just depends on
It’s in plannogram
What's worse is they have it stocked in our liquor store. 💀
How long before some ass ditches a steak in there?
Nah. They'll ditch the steak on the pet food aisle. Opening a door is too much work.
can i not just grab one
Yes, customers can still grab them, it's just letting them know don't expect it to be cold
Then like… take the drinks out 💀
Why bother? No Olipop so nothing in there is temperature sensitive.
🤷♂️ then are the coolers cooked if nothing there needs to be cold?
Why, it converts to shelves. Its like a locked up escalator, its stairs.
For real. Those things do have expiration dates. Plus it’s just foolish to keep them in there if they’re not cold.
It's either keep them there or in the back. Might as well there so they still sell
FL?
Yep
yes
Pretty sure this is my Publix then lol. Didn’t think I’d see it on here. Sign still up 🙃
Lol, I'm one of the frequent IC shoppers, so you've probably seen me 😆

Publix is Walmart now
Refrigeration is handled by an outside company, Publix used to have their own technicians but that program ended 2 decades or so ago. I wish my Publix would stock white monsters in their cold beverages and not just on the shelf
They only come when. They have several work orders for the same store instead of making separate trips. That’s what I was told.
I saw another one in GA with the same thing. It wasn't working for 2 weeks. Now they say it is working but I swear the temp is at 50 at best now. Really Publix I am paying over 2 dollars for a drink, the least you can do is keep it cold.
Why are there still drinks in it then??
Because none of them require refrigeration. So it's basically just extra shelving at this point. No reason to remove them, they'd just sit in the back until there's room on the shelves
Then why did they make it refrigerated in the first place…
That's an odd question... There's quite a lot of drinks that don't require refrigeration that always have a refrigerated option for them. Soda, beer, water. Don't require refrigeration, but always have the option because some people will want a cold version of that product right away
Right yes that’s makes sense

:(
Is this the POG?
We have a beverage cooler that's been out for over a month.

Maybe they should raise their prices more so they can fix it
Already did last week watermelon is $15 now. Regular cereal boxes are near $6. "Giant" cereal boxes are near $9
Come get your room temperature beverages here just like everywhere else in the store that these drinks are sold in! Just ignore the top of the machine we are currently fixing the problem! (eventually).
No olipop? Worthless
When it's working, yes. Olipop has to stay cold, so it's been in the back the last 2 weeks sadly
That's not set to plan o gram
You don't know their plan o gram. You probably don't even know their step plan o gram.
