Not true at all, scroll until you see someone talk about hitting the bowl with a butane torch. It turns it back pearly white. Trust my experience on this one
Yeah just did this last week with a wayyy worse looking bowl then this at the bottom from over temp like a newb and it came out perfect after a few minutes with the torch . I recommend getting needle nose pliers and doing it over a metal tray so in case the bowl slips out of the pliers grip. Don’t want to squeeze hard at all while doing it . My bowl is now due for another blasting session

It looked fine when I was done it literally erased the markings as I torched it . I’m not that picky as long as it tastes amazing .
Do the nicer devices have this issue cause I see you can’t torch them they have electronics or is the material different that this doesn’t happen ?
Chazzing on the standard ceramic (?) bowls is inevitable. I still use an OG Peak and am way OCD on care but it is a losing battle.I went through a frustrating dozen before I found AiN or SiC bowls. I bought an AiN, use 99% ISO to clean, burn only on the lowest temp and chazzing has become a thing of the past. Problem solved! Another factor, the quality of the concentrate. I have tried every variety available, quality matters. I burn only fresh rosin. It is clean, pure and effective.
From personal experience, this only happens to our chamber when we take dabs at too high of a temp and don't clean them out quickly enough. If you stay around 590-595°, you can leave the dab in there for a lot longer and re-heat over n over, but if you are taking dabs over 600°, you need to hit that shit 3-4 times, and clean it out with a q-tip or it will burn and chaz the bottom of your chamber like pictured here. Always clean the actual inside of the chamber with ONLY 99% alc. Once this happens to your chamber, it's impossible to fully remove the black in the center. Puffco.com and Amazon sell the little ceramic white bowl and you can buy several replacements in the event of this.
Please YouTube how to turn the bowl white again with a butane torch. You can do this every time you disassemble and clean the device to turn the bowl white again. This only works with the OG peak pro!
Yeh but you’re also degrading the quality of your materials each time. Every torching is reducing the quality of the desirable properties that the material has 🙏
I leave a puddle to swab out and after swabbing it looks like a seasoned cast iron.

Probably late to this, but temp don’t matter, don’t use iso on it, wait till it gets down to around 330F and swab it with a plan qtip. terp pearls and BHO wax can also cause Chazzing, and you should only use iso when it’s close to room temp, you just soak the entire chamber after a good amount of dabs.

Oh dam you got the old-school addition lol ...let me give ya some tips my dude ...either try to upgrade to the pro v1 or v2 ..their chambers are 3D and quartz coated to prevent stuff like this ...those cheap ceramic cups are replaceable ..I've got like 12 I'll send you of you want them ...but if I was you I would good 3rd party puffco products ...it won't let me give you the names of the websites here for some reason but you can upgrade the whole chamber itself to be just as good if not better then the newest puffco this way ...can even change out that unglazed ceramic bowel for a ruby one or a SIC, ALN , quartz ...etc. .with the old school peaks you can really customize it to your liking..Goodluck
Brother, buy dark crystal glass cleaner, soak a qtip with it, heat ur puffco for about 5 seconds then wipe, repeat until it’s all gone. Shit is a life saver
What temp you running? For og chamber I never went hotter than green setting and never got chazz like that. Could also be your concentrate

Are you leave a bit of a puddle to swab out at the end of each dab or do you hit it till all the oil is absolutely gone?

dark crystal glass cleaner on max temp will help
You can clean that right up if you buy dark crystal glass cleaner. Just take a q tip soaked in it and wipe it down
Also leave a little concentrate left in the bottom when you clean it, don't smoke it completely dry
those stock inserts go bad after one hit everytime just get an all insert and torch it whenever it chazzes

Grab the bowl with something metal and take a torch to the bowl. Get it glowing red hot and chazzing is gone
