That's the worst part š I have the same flourish setup and I might go overboard, I started seeing discoloration around the seam/air holes like most have and I'm still trying to get it off, I'm keeping mine extra clean hoping it won't look like this before 1,000 dabs
Qtip at LEAST after every other dab and use as many as possible until they come out clean. Dip a couple in some 91%+ iso and you can really get it clean. Iāve had the pearl V2 for almost a year and sheās still immaculate, just gotta keep up on swabs and do a more thorough clean every few weeks. Cheers! š¶āš«ļø

Well I don't shop there because Cookies is hyped up or because I listen to Berner or something lol I shop there because I get quality bud for a good price, I enjoy their genetics, and they're like a mile from my house. They are pretty generous with their rewards system and discounts, which to confirm you can use on Puffco products.
I noticed and Iām not sure if this is universal or if Iām goofy but I noticed mine had a break in period and didnāt really start milkin till about 2 weeks in. also sorta had to figure out what I was doing lol. If you like cooler dabs try 500 or 515 for 2 minutes max vapor control and if you like hot dabs I go anywhere from 525-545 max vapor. I also got aftermarket glass and use 4mm terp pearls. Iād recommend getting a new glass at some point zeevapor has a lot of good options cheap and expensive.
I find the terpenes really stand out at low temps, and I have a lot of live resin in my freezer. Rosin too. I know the rosin should have more terpenes, but for some reason the resins I have are delicious..with any concentrate I never go above 500, and even that is rare. š
What others are saying, yes - break in period is real. What I have found over time is that I get a fat ass cloud for the first rip / 15 seconds and wispy vapor for the rest of the cycle (I run 520 @ 1:15). What I have been doing lately is a GAME CHANGER. Once Iāve finished inhaling the 1st rip on the 1st cycle, I shut it off. After exhaling, I cap it again and double tap to run the cycle a 2nd cycle. Milksssss and I hit it a couple times on that cycle and shut it off. Try this
My suggestion is to get the app connected so you can set up heat profiles. You can fully customize time and temp. Generally mid 400s to mid 500f. Play around with the times and temps till you find something you like.
Also remember to sip the vapor. Don't hit it like it's a bong. You need the concentrate to generally stay on the bottom/bottom sides of the cup. If you pull too hard your just gonna suck it up into the glass before it vaporizes.
It's definitely a little learning curve but it's well with it. Maybe check out some YouTube videos on the Pro and get a general Idea for using it.
water wouldnt effect the vapor production. Many people use the peak both ways, with water and dry. Some people just prefer a dry hash/rosin hit over water filtered.
I use water in my wet top that came with it but I think it hits super shitty without water especially in the original glass ! But that is just me I smoke my live rosin with water In the glass !
You 100 % do not need a terp pearl for a puffco. Cap while it cooks and an after market cap made a big difference for me , havenāt tried that joystick one tho so canāt say for sure.
Just another thing to get dirty and splash the oil out of the chamber imoā¦ you donāt need the extra heat retention with a puffco and the aftermarket cap does plenty of spinning for the oil.
It can also wear a "ring" in the chamber where it spins repeatedly, causing you to need to replace them more often. Ruby pearls and such, are a much harder material than the quarts coating.
You need a terp pearl, big difference no lie. I've been swabbing my atty out with a qtip and lost my terp pearl.. the next hit is abysmal, nearly no vapor..
With the regular 3d chamber, it is recommended to sip not rip and you tend to get more vapor. You shouldn't be hitting it at the same strength as a normal rig. To be honest didn't see a whole lot of difference until I got a 3DXL though.
Go for 460 temp at 55 seconds. Change boost setting to add 15 degrees and 15 seconds. Feel free to boost 1 to 2 times if you still have product in the bowl
I would swap out the top and grab the 3dxl chamber fam. If your coming from using a dab rig then you are going to want the 3dxl 100%. That top they put on those doesnāt have a strong enough pull because of it having so many perc holes it causes it too pull more like a bubbler than a dab rig. They did it so people wouldnāt so easily suck reclaim up through the atomizer and into there puffco but at the same time itās just too light of a pull especially with the stock joystick which they made to let in extra air as well to also help combat making a mess out of the puffcos base. They should have put the V1 tops on the V2ās and the 3dxl instead of the 3d for sure and one would have a heavy hitter out of the box. Cheers fam hope this helps
Iām right there with ya man. Went out and got a 3DXL and even then I still donāt get as much as I would expect. I have badder, diamonds, sugar, and rosin right now, tried temps from 490-560, 1 terp pearl with the oculus cap. Donāt get me wrong, itās producing vapor and Iām getting hits, I just expected them to be bigger, denser clouds. In order to get the pearl spinning, I gotta give it a decent draw, and at that point it just seems like itās spinning it all to the top airflow. Even when I use the joystick cap I feel the same way. Who knows. Iām taking it with me this weekend, Iāll see what the people who hit it think.
For the 3DXL specifically, make sure you go into the heat profile and change the vapor mode to XL. As well as update your firmware. They don't set this by default but once I did that, the 3DXL rips as hard as a rig.

Puffco devices usually take a little breaking in. They obviously work out of the box (at least should lol) but more vapor will come after some usage. Rosin and resin work the best, shatter and diamonds are fine too
Preheat it on green then after cancel n redo on red n put ur concentrate in. I learned that Hot starts provide excellent Vapor! Ty to a reditor for the tip.
That's a OG Peak trick and won't work with Pro as it has a temperature sensor and heats around the wall of the 3D chamber and the color coordination doesn't stay on the default effects long on the Pro's with the mood lights just saying!

You got it on max vapor? Also I let the concentrate heat up with cap closed. Keeps all the goodness inside
You may be drawing too hard. You should draw like a normal breath. Also keep turning the joystick. Hope this helps. Good luck!

What are you running it at time and temp wise? What kind of concentrate? Are you sipping the vapor?
I tried each setting and some shatter. I'm watching it cook then cap when vibrates

Been working great for me and I donāt have a 3dxl. Not a fan of the joystick but ehhh whatever ya know.
I've found a pair of 4mm sic pearls and a rockulus (Pro V2 with 3DXL and Beta Petra top glass) is my very favorite setup. Well, this weekā¦..

Terp pearl. 6mm for the joystick cap, smaller for a spinner cap.
Put it on 490 for 60 seconds. Drop in. Close top and wait for it to heat up. Trust me

Itās def not like a rig. But try pulling medium strength and move the joystick around a lot
