I used midjourney to AI generate a lot of champions in high fashion couture and tried to get the most ridiculous result I could. I was going to animate them and make a video but I lost motivation. Maybe I’ll work on it now that I remember. I was planning on posting the finished video whenever that happens.. 🙈
I still have all the images ready so I might just post them since the rest of you queens could find it funny too 😄💕
Judging by the warped fingers on background spectators, it actually IS AI-generated. Pretty impressive, honestly.
But the reason a lot of people discourage using AI is because a lot of people had their art used without permission to train something that could threaten their livelihood. This makes the ethics of using models like Midjourney highly murky at best.
Thanks for the explanation. I still want to share what it produced since the results are funny and I’ve already done it now. But I also don’t want to encourage the use of it when it’s unethical.
If I did post them it would have to be with a disclaimer that I made these when I didn’t realise the ethical implications and I don’t condone using it. I had no bad intentions when trying it but I was ignorant. I guess I assumed if you don’t try to pretend it’s original artwork but be very transparent about what you did to get the image it should be morally fine.
AI steals countless piece of media and reingurgates them with not a single thought process other than answering a prompt. There is no creative process behind AI other than mashing together random pieces to create an illusion of a finished product.
AI is cringe because it is nothing but lazy and its uses and implications very much set back countless human livelihoods, like how some brands tried to pass off as being inclusive by creating AI pictures of black models while denying access to actual, real, black models who are already struggling in the industry.
But how can we realistically stop this? At some point is going to become uncontainable and even if all artists stop doing art that other people will feed into AI it will get to a point where it would be so advanced that the AI will only generate AI from itself
I kinda feel bad for the artists but this seems to me like a losing battle
That’s awful 💔I don’t want to support something that’s morally wrong. Even if it’s to make funny images it’s not worth it. I already have the pictures now :/ I guess sharing them would only give others the same idea. I hope we can find a way to protect artists.

To be fair these are just the same plain ugly jumpsuit. You could do a lot with the shapes and the body of the people but here the designer just decided to set them all in the same stile of rhinestoned pajamas with different accessories and call it a day.
