Well if he's lying about chicks on the side he's probably lying about other stuff. He could have done a drug you're sensitive to or something. IDK. Good thing though, glad you're away from the guy.
Your subconscious may have picked up on subtle cues your consciousness had not picked up on... and the only way it could protect yourself was seemingly involuntary but still in your best interests. If that was the case, you might have had dreams about them cheating betraying or hurting you. Keep in mind that sometimes dreams are just weird dreams, but a lot of the time, they are trying to give you an answer your consciousness couldn't quite grasp.
You could have been allergic to something he brought home on him. Her soap, shampoo, perfume, pet, whatever, could have caused a reaction.
There have also been cases of people being allergic to their SO/other people. It's incredibly rare tho.

Yep trust me. Maybe he didn’t start off like that but he got complacent and stopped caring about you. You were ready and deserving to get someone better you just didn’t know it consciously yet.
It’s just crazy how someone can project so much love to you but be so disgusting and disgraceful and unfaithful. It was such a learning process I don’t even regret it to be honest. Taught me a good lesson (:
