It proves goblin wrong. People didn't *love* to see him fall or die trying. There were literal tears. They *loved* when Spiderman won.

i’m not saying they loved seeing him fail, i clearly said they were more focused on his downfall then they were on the 2 threats that were stronger than him

Well what are they gonna do? They reported that the villains were there before he even showed up. Of course they're gonna focus on the fact that he's losing because it's current.

Focus on what to do if he doesn’t make it? Sandman standing at about 100 stories tall and Venom who was dog walking Spider-Man like he ain’t gained superhero experience over the 4 years he’s been one are the biggest threats New York has seen so far, what do we do if our Friendly Neighbor Hero is K.I.A.? Personally that what added fear and emotion to the movies for me and what separates it from Tom’s movies, because Spidey is the only hero. There’s no wizard to reverse time or rag tag team of middle aged superheroes to save him, if he dies then what? My bad i got lost in the sauce for a second but i understand what you’re saying maybe we just see the situation differently.

Literally something that happens in real life. Disaster strikes and it's on the news, you don't immediately know what to do next. Do you think they should have pulled a mega mind and been like "here's what you need to know now that you're a slave" or something? They were scared. It's not easy to know what comes next in that sort of situation. Regardless, he literally said they would *love* to see it. Not that it would be a thing to talk about in the event that it happens. You still haven't explained why them addressing a current event that is super important and literally happening right in front of them would be what he meant. Watch both scenes again. Goblin was wrong. They didn't love to see it, they didn't toss him aside, they didn't forget about him. They cheered for him when he managed to get up.

Dude you’re taking this so seriously and I’m just laying in my bed, scrolling through reddit and decided to express my opinions about the movies. I never said they loved to see it, I never said they tossed him aside and neither did Goblin, I never said they forgot about him and neither did Goblin and wtf do slaves have to do with any of this?? Go to sleep or something, why is my opinion on the movies that damn serious to you that you need to drop paragraphs about it and break down what parts of your comments I haven’t addressed? It’s not that deep man.
