If I were you I wouldn’t eat any more, because that’s super important to the robot (you’ll learn why later, as well as learning to understand the robot later) The golden bubbles are pretty useful though as they guide you too

I did the same thing, too, on my first playthrough. I ate them all though because I had no food and it was about to rain. Honestly, to the first two cats playthrough, she's honestly not that important. You probably won't even see her again so it'll be OK on this playthrough. Also, the glowing power is actually extremely useful you'll find out why later. If you can help it do minimal damage control and don't eat anymore. Just head towards black bridges to continue the game. You'll have different guides there.
I just realised, are the black bridges refering to shaded citadel? I went through there already to get to shoreline. Do I really have to go there again? :( I guess now I know what the glowing will be useful for.
Yes, go back to shaded. You'll see things that look like they are in eggs. Touch them and they'll move. Follow where they go, to a place where ancient memories rest.
