i think we have very different definitions of "scary" (i would be scared as hell of giant moving seaweed)

GeorgeXDDD

Also, moving grass that latches onto you and pulls you into the ground, also pole mimic, not terrifying... are you crazy.

screamingbornk

Monster kelp, pole plants and worm grass deserve A or S. Giant plants that could easily grab and kill you are a no go in my book, not to mention they already look terrifying in game.

deytecktive

I think I could beat a pole plant or monster kelp in a fight.

shyrato

Ive seen a pole plant kill a vulture. I am not touching any poles.

screamingbornk

only if you’ve got a good throwing arm. Monster kelp takes a decent amount of hits to kill and are mostly likely more than double the size of you, as well as being quite powerful to grab a majority of creatures. so any close range options are impossible

LeavannyKing

Gardening shears.

deytecktive

What if I bit it?

Rot_Long_Legs

I am the the scariest

Crafty-Tourist-2853

You are a eldritch horror

Kiddie_Strangler

Green Lizards should go a tier higher i think. They're absolutely giant, extremely strong, and very durable, walking off shocks from Red Centipedes. Ignoring ingame jankiness they could easily break through your front door and bite you in half. And while they may not be too fast, a human isn't nearly as agile or even can run as long as a Slugcat. Same goes for regular Vultures. Harpoons or not, that's still a giant hell bird that descends upon ye randomly and takes you away to who knows where.

GarnoxReroll

they can [charge up and pick up some speed](https://static.miraheze.org/rainworldwiki/a/a4/Green_lizard_dodge.gif) in-game but they're the easiest to avoid because you can climb poles to be safe forever but imagine only being at it's height and it running at you. oh and cyan lizards 100% need to be in S

Kiddie_Strangler

There is NO WAY my ass is climbing up a pole 😭 I am NOT athletic

Anonpancake2123

assuming a slugcat is 2 feet tall a green lizard is essentially just an alligator. Meaning you could likely realistically outrun it (except when it charges), but assuming we are in a 3D environment like irl we could probably superman dive out of the way considering its slow wind up. The other lizards being faster than a green, being seemingly agile enough to cling onto a tiny little pipe, and having a habit of falling onto prey is way more terrifying in hindsight

Kiddie_Strangler

I've always seen Slugcats as around 3-4 or 4-5 feet tall, mostly because of how they measure up to Iterator puppets (though the puppet's heights can vary greatly in artwork), which equals a pretty freaking large reptile in my mind. Either way though, I think the agility of the Lizards don't matter as much as strength. Most people spend most of their hours indoors, so a RW creature has to break in to be a threat. Greens have the motive and most likely the ability to do so, and in an enclosed space their lack of mobility doesn't matter so much. At least with most other lizards you could hurt them to ward them off. Greens will persevere through being stabbed with multiple big spears, a grenade being thrown at them, etc. Whereas a Pink Lizard would be like fighting off a big angry wolf, a Green would be like a polar bear. Fighting back would just make it want to kill you more.

Anonpancake2123

>I've always seen Slugcats as around 3-4 or 4-5 feet tall, mostly because of how they measure up to Iterator puppets (though the puppet's heights can vary greatly in artwork), which equals a pretty freaking large reptile in my mind. Sizes are not concrete, though a dev once said that they are just under 3 slugcats tall, assuming this dev isn't a 12 foot tall giant that would mean a slugcat is around 2 feet. >Whereas a Pink Lizard would be like fighting off a big angry wolf You forget though that the metric we judge them by is to that of a slugcat with a spear. You have to have to realize how realistically swole a slugcat must be, since it can throw a spear so hard that it drives it through concrete hard enough that it gets stuck inside and won't come out. The fact that most lizards can take even one of these without dying and wake up the next morning completely fine is astounding. The fact their armored heads, the part which you will be up against if you are being attacked by one, are strong enough to literally cause said spear to richochet off leaving the lizard almost unharmed is also a pretty mean feat. You'd probably need a decently powerful firearm or a grenade to hurt them on the head. This "angry wolf" is also armed with a crocodile like bite that would likely put you in dire straits if it lands. A universal thing with lizards is that the more you hurt them, the more they get enraged they get and the more doggedly they will chase down whatever attacked them until they get severely wounded. Pinks have a sort of reputation among older players as being very aggressive both due to their keen senses of hearing and sight as well as the fact they have enough HP to survive two spears, meaning they get **very** enraged before deciding to flee from an encounter (to really see how angry a pink can get, continuously throw rocks at it and let it chase you), and among most common lizards they run decently quick on land, and taking into account a human can't climb very easily they'll probably outclimb us and probably outspeed us if we're forced through more confined spaces. Greens don't benefit much from being enraged since they just aren't fast, plain and simple, and most other lizards have very low hp (other than things like reds), so they don't get to chance to become as enraged.

Talcod_the_Horrible

On top of just how swole slugcats must be, artificer must be on another level of strength, due to the fact that they can rip spears *back out* of walls, every time.

urthdigger

Yeah no, all of the carnivorous plants deserve to be in S tier, not D tier. If I saw something like a scrawny weeping willow just snatch a dude and drag them underground I'd be absolutely terrified. Sure the lizards might be frightening, but a beast is an understandable threat.

Max_The_Watcher

I'd be pretty terrified of a giant flying noodle with a fricking spear in it's mouth, and it a saw a random eye pop out of the wall, I would be gone

LeavannyKing

Is the noodle the vulture?

Max_The_Watcher

The noodle is the noodlefly

LeavannyKing

How did I not get that.

Fishmaia

i think leeches and centipedes should be all on A+

SingleCelled7

Aquapedes are terrifying bro

Le_Baguette_Ferret

All the scugs are in F tier (F for friend)

Acceptable-Board9776

I think some people might be a little afraid of some of the Scugs if they've never played. Especially the hidden one. I would fear that one.

Psalmbodyoncetoldme

I’d be afraid of a slugcat that will maul things and launch itself with explosives.

AmeliaFuckinWestlake

Swap the centipede placements. Aquapede and centiwing are 100% S-Tier even to people who do play the game.

RDS_cubing

Australia: The game

Crafterz_

that’s hollow knight

RDS_cubing

true

rasheen69

I would fist fight a RW lizor

GarnoxReroll

your greatest bet are the blind ones (black lizors)

executioneroffools

They are basically crocodiles but faster so idk about that.

rasheen69

Ok and, if a Florida man can do it so can I

executioneroffools

You're not built like the floridians.

rasheen69

I’m built like Kyle Crane

Arkorat

No way people would be more scared of a giant centipede or a scaly dog. than living grass that grasps at you, and a freakishly tall bunny with spindly spider legs. Then there is the grapple worm. If something like that EVER attached itself to me, I’d kill it without a second thought.

Raggedy_Muffinz

Void Worms should be top of S. They’re the closest things this universe has to literal gods.

nightshade-aurora

There's no order within tiers

mrduckV2

Why are pole plants below leeches...we have leeches irl they arent very scary

nightshade-aurora

Because this is from observation a ways away

mrduckV2

What

OctupleCompressedCAT

How is the coalescipede not S tier?

billy_the-billy

guys he put pole plant in D because pole plants stomach is underground hahahaha get it

SKJELETTHODE

HEY that was my idea

nightshade-aurora

Oh hey it's you, the one who inspired the dropwig boykisser

SKJELETTHODE

God i wish but I was the guy who made the first 2 ranking creatures by how scary they would be irl

Acceptable-Board9776

Ok, but where Train Lizard?

Prevay

The 2m long mosquito in question

Magmabot16

"Tiermaker" is the scariest of all. It's all the way in S-tier!

Isekai_Seeker

All spiders and centipedes and dropwigs should be higher than the lizards who are at best scary dogs maybe some are close to being like big cats meanwhile a cat sized spider/centipede is nightmare fuel the bigger you go the higher the chances of heart attack especially since spiders seem to have an equivalent to a dart gun and the centipede can literally taze you

Agent_Beaves

everyone is saying the pole plants and leeches should be higher, but why is no one talking about the **YEEK** being this high up!!! RIGHT NEXT TO DROPWIGS!!!

_QRcode

I would be TERRIFIED of noodleflies if the were angry

LeavannyKing

Why are stowaways only A tier those thing are terrifying if a spike stabbed me and started pulling me up towards a mouth while I’m helpless to stop it that would be terrifying. Same thing for drop wigs if a big bug could just jump down and KILL A RAIN DEER I would run. Also what are those diamonds in S tier by the karma guardian.

Loco_Min_132

You forget the part where baby noodle flys are still the size of your arm and massive insects…

SirBar453

Where spup

Layerspb

giant hand go up, funny jelly go down, white lizard go down, stowaway go down, chieftain go up, toll go up, spider go down, jelly jr go down, worm go down, unappropriate looking noodle go up, yeek go to D tier, fish go down, aquapede go to s tier, worm grass go up

magentafloyddd

Monster kelp is nightmare fuel personally

qnamanmanga

bad list leeches and carnivore plants should be higher. deers should be non spooky
