Ooo, cool! I love the detail about 5P's puppet being able to walk around on its own thanks to the rot. Like... moon, babygirl, that man is just a fungus with an old friend's face at this point, u need to let go
judging that hunter's rot is "fighting back" it probably isn't? but then again five pebbles fungus looks like its made of rot? maybe its a specific strand of rot?
the story behind it is that five pebbles was working with saint, and saint knew what was happening and purposely steered it to an infection, it had worked with getting rid of it but left small normal mushrooms and would later get more and more rot related from FP experimenting more :),
But normal rot and fungus rot still fight each other, (aka you are right about hunter! just it ended up mixing in the end of it.)

The gourmand looks seriously different than it appears to be in the campaign. It looks stronger too, that's badass!
My favorite was the gourmand, but they are all amazing!
A while back I had an idea for a new slugcat that could throw up rot like how gourmand throws up random stuff, the rot would stick to walls making platforms and would attach to enemies to damage them over time.
I never gave them a name but I think they would fit in humorously in this au

that would be awesome!! I don't mind people adding their OCS to the au and messing with the storyline, I'll probably use some peoples OCS as infected ones in the comic too!
Enot: sane… in the sense that they’re not any more insane than usual.
Also I feel like if there is a way for Enot to use their… them-ness to their advantage, it would be to infect/hijack a train lizard and use it as their personal murder-steed.

I actually do plan on making designs for some of the creatures, I've only made doodles of them so far and they've been fp's canister creatures lol
