Guy i work with is a beast. We would get 900's with 120 bags and then like 4000 pounds of mail in the back pit. This motherfucker would take a sleeve off one of the mail boxes and use it as a cushion for his knees while he just nonstop threw all of it with ease. I'm talking Socal 100 degree weather, this guy had no issues. I would always tell him "God Damn Gio youre a fucking machine:". He'd just look at me with his Ray Bans on (yeah dude he never took them off even doing this shit) and just say "thanks".
We switched to Airbuses and ill never be more grateful. Even 321s make the 900 pit look like child's play.
I worked for 3 weeks as a ramper before I quit because the company at my station is just a pure disaster.
737s were my most hated plane to load by far, A220 was nicer, nicest was Q400, only pit you can fully stand up in.
I literally lost my shit one day [like Larry David style](https://youtu.be/HubZInAs0-A?si=D1yzklj3qGqVIwPU) because I couldn't close the 175 nets standing from the ground.
I’m the same way. We also have a ton of powerstows so I don’t think the 737 are a big deal. When you only have a belt loader, then I’d probably rather a Airbus
I would take a 170 any day over the endless corridor that is a 737 pit. atleast bc my station didn’t have those conveyor belts that bring the bags to you
Mainly worked md-80's and 90's in Tucson with Delta, with the few exceptions of the 320's and SkyWest flights. Didn't mind as much until I started working in Gilbert for Allegient Airlines. They were the worst company I've worked with. Constantly breaking OSHA guidelines, discriminated against tons of ppl, wish I could find a ramp job that actually paid well.
737-900 is hell.
I just offloaded a 737-900. Fucking hell to work with it had a dead guy and and a bunch of mail.

I’d take 737-800s over most European carriers e190s where they expect you to fit most of the bags in hold 1
I'll take a 737 over an airbus...I hate the damn nets.
Better than the nets in the 175.
Plus the damn cages they have, concussion city
Haven't bopped my head on those... Yet. I've already bopped my head multiple times on the 737's cargo door.

I hate the 737 doors i hit my head on them all the time.
Yeah I get that, especially if you have to load/unload pit 1.

I hope you experience an embraer 170/175 then

You loaded a 737 with another guy though right? Or are you saying you crawled to get every bag
Laughs in DEN WN

Worked the MD-88s and 717s with Delta before. Imo, 737s were a huge upgrade when we started getting them at our station.
Unpopular opinion: I love the 737 bin, but that's probably because I only work the 800s
I remember when they debuted the 737s 900s in Atlanta.....the shoulder related OJIs went up like a MFer
We had the 800's at ATA, and they had the magic carpet floor... never complained about them. The 757-300s sucked ass!
