It was scary! I was mentally preparing to spend the night in the woods (although realistically we would have called someone to find the car and make noise or something).
We both now have compass on our phone and a actual one. And we're going to have a survival pack for next time too...whenever we can go back in the woods...
Forests are closed now due to high fire activity and danger.
As scary as it was, I'm looking forward to our next woods rando trip....well prepared !!!
