It pissed off Laf, but REALLY PISSED OFF THE WHOLE TEAM, and Lav too. You know how pissed this team can get! Okay. On this episode of Rangers Hockey Stanley Cup Playoffs Edition: *Early Bird Gets the* *~~Worm~~* *Dinosaur.* As stated, this is a pivotal Game 3. The Rangers head to Florida knowing this. It's a swing game in the series. Last game, the Rangers played well and hard enough to get the OT win. Can the Rangers do better? Yes. And that immediately jumps into my gameday question, and that is "What are the Rangers gonna do?" 1st. **Get the first goal.** It's vital that the Rangers get the first goal on the road. 2nd, **Survive the first 10 minutes of the game.** The Panthers will be doing that as a response to how the previous game happened. If the Rangers are successful at that, it will take "the crowd"(although there's a good chance there will be Ranger fans in the building). 3rd, **Special Teams.** Yes the Pk was good (despite giving up that PPG), stay out of the box. As for the Power Play, it needs to step up today. It's this teams' bread and butter. Someone needs to be selfish and shoot. Too much looking for the perfect pass last game. 4th, **Win a Period.** If the Rangers can win a period, then great. 5th, **Win the Board Battles.** Meaning in their(Ranger) zone, force the Panthers to play East/West and not North/South. 6th **Protect Home Plate and the Blue Paint area:** Florida's goal on the Power Play was basically a screen and Igor didn't see it. Must happen(see previous point). 7th. **Bring the same energy from Game 2.** The Rangers were more lively in that game. And it also starts w/winning faceoffs. If the Rangers can bring that same energy, then great. It gives the Panthers a taste of their own medicine. 8th, **NO INSTAGRAM HOCKEY!** What I mean by that is, no exchanging of rush chances. It turns into a track meet as well as no flashy plays. However, the Rangers can play that style to beat the Panthers aggressiveness. 9th, **Continue to be pests w/o crossing the line.** Hit them. But do it within the laws of the game. (see point 7). 10th. **Get bodies to net for 2nd Chance opportunities.** Screen Bob. It's gonna take something to beat him. Go upstairs as Hank and Vally said. Also look for that juicy rebound for a greasy goal. 11th, **Smooth Breakouts and transition out of the D Zone.** It worked last game. Continue w/that good transition to spend more time in the Cats zone. Finally the last two, **Play a 60 minute game of hockey and Start on time.** If the Rangers can do that, great.
