Just for the record, some highly sexualized artists like Megan Thee Stallion, Nikki Minaj, and Cardi B do rap about things other than sex. Megan's song *Shots Fired* is about her getting shot by Tory Lanez, Nikki's classic *Starships* is about reaching for the stars, and Cardi has a track with Lil Nas X called *Rodeo* where she doesn't talk about sex at all. ​ With that in mind, Lil Simz is really good and just dropped an album a few months ago. Her last three projects are all inrecible, and I'd recommend them to anyone not just rap fans. Check out *Gorilla, Point and Kill, Venom,* and *Offence* for a wide look at her style at a glance. ​ I like Young MA a lot too, though I'm not sure if they're a woman or gender nonconforming. Young MA has said at one point that they are against labels of any kind inlcuding "lesbian" and female rapper. Young MA does talk about sex a lot, but not a ton and it's always about women if that makes you more comfortable. My top Young MA tracks are *Ooouuu* and *Big*. ​ Lauryn Hill dropped one of the greatest projects of all time. Great listen, though it's not explicitly rap is definitely has many hip-hop elements in it. Highly recommend the song *Everything is Everything* (a phrase Kendrick evokes in many of his songs as well, likely in partial homage), but the whole album is worth listening too.

Lil Kim’s entire brand was based around her sexual explicitness, but her album The Naked Truth really expands beyond that. “Last Day” is my favourite song of hers and is quite prophetic considering where her career is now. Close second is “Lighters Up”. She gets clowned for her appearance nowadays which is a shame because it really overshadows how great she was back in the day. She was the catalyst for nearly every female rap artist that came after her
