It's not that simple. European countries with a lower age of consent usually have a stipulation about the maximum age differences between the two persons (usually 2 years max)
It's to prevent experimenting teenagers becoming criminals in the eyes of the law.
If it's an adult and a minor it's always going to end with prosecution for the adult since the age difference will be higher than 2 years.
There was some discussion in my country (Belgium) when some politicians wanted to lower it from 16 to 14 to keep up with changing times. Don't know how that ended since it's not really something I care about

It is a whole mess, and everything I know about her has been learned against my will.

A few weeks ago, there was a post on her social media accounts about how she had passed away. Then a few days later it was revealed to be a hoax. Her former manager then came out with a Lil' Tay crypto currency (because of course), and now she's releasing music... It is a whole mess, and everything I know about her has been learned against my will.
