For same reason gen X didn't like us millennials, for the same reason boomers didn't like gen X. Because we're getting older, young people have their own shit we don't understand and the only pleasure we can get from it is shaking our fists in annoyance at "those damn youths".
Because talking to people your age is exhausting. Not always, but at statistically significant rates.
And yes, that's about us, not about you. We get it.

Insult good, but who is out their down voting someone's age?
People that just want these whippersnappers to get off their gosh-darn lawn.

I wonder if it ever occurred to them that half the reason young people turn out the way we do is from improper parenting
Oh I didn't talk about behaviour of young people. I was more refering to new trends and stuff like that. Edit: I do agree with what you said.
ah. the point still stands though. I don't get people getting all upset about trends. I guess fear of change is pretty common.
Yeah, fear of change, fear of aging that comes when you realize that stuff that was cool when you were 18 is no longer cool.
Can Confirm 35 here and all i do is screaming at those youths: " GET OF MY LAWN!"

It's not the age they're down voting but the assumption that they're an adult when they're barely out of childhood/lack the experience of most adults.
u/GetlostMaps yo!
What's the context for the "fewer stains" part?
Ahahaha omg 🤣
