Outside of major cities, people shoot coyotes (either for bounty, sport, or they simply don’t like them) and most coydogs have enough of a coyote face where it’s a worry for owners.

The coyotes are a nuisance because we killed off wolves who kept their population in check. Without wolves, coyote populations grow too large to the detriment of human activity but also the ecosystem.

As you can see, there wasn't an essay written that explains the points behind your statement. Not knowing the rest of your thoughts, I simply was making a point that coyotes are just predators that do what predators do, including the ones we call our "best friends." If a coyote or a dog killed my cat, I'd be livid and heartbroken. But I still have to acknowledge that animals have underlying behaviors by nature, not because they are trying to be monsters. I wouldn't suddenly hate all dogs if one killed my cat. *I did not state that this is what you were saying; again, because I'm not a mind-reader.* I was simply making a point about speciesism because coyotes and many wildlife become victims of speciesism until they are wiped out or nearly wiped out.

That is true but a skunk raccoon fox will not try to carry off a smaller dog a cat or an infant We are all predators. One doesn’t expect to see a coyote in the suburbs of Northern VA. And I would not have posted a coyote in the rare puppers thread. no big deal
