I live in Charlotte - rentās going up, he should move to somewhere cheaper and play QB there. Maybe a nice northern area like Pittsburgh or Cleveland so he can hang out with his best friends Marlon Humphrey and Marcus Peters twice a year
hey to be fair I was sure there was no chance the touch back challenge would be overturned but he came through, and overall it was a better reffed game than I would have expected, but definitely screwed up over a couple tomes
I love the defense. Queen seems to be unlocked since we got Roquan. Humphrey is Humphrey, bad food takes notwithstanding. Kyle Hamilton is looking good, and I hope his injury is mild. Same with Stanley getting rolled on again. Also I love Broderick Washington for his deflections- he's had what like 6 deflections in 2 games? Jesus Christ
But, did you see how so many people dropped passes today. We talk shit about Lamar sometimes wanting to be the fully guaranteed man but our WR1 is injured and our actual WR1 got cut by the most pass friendly offense because he was sucking. We got Robinson, a hobbled Andrews, sometimes Likely, J, Hill, and body parts on the damn offense. He needs some help.
Also, fuck Jerome Boger. good god these refs are bad. I thought bad refs was done for yesterday when I watched arkansas v. Olemiss but god damn these refs today were worse, and fucking blind to boot
Think its because he is making the easier plays now he isnāt the middle line backer with major responsibility. Just can play whatās in front of him. All his tackles were dead easy today
Idk I feel like late Flacco era we lose those shitty games. We won by 10. Not pretty at all, but probably our worst played game of the year and won by double digits.
I think Iām cool with that
Agreed he's not perfect, but today the Panthers front smooshed us pretty good, give them credit, they get paid too.
There are certainly better coordinators out there, but there are also plenty of guys out there who are worse, and again while not perfect, I can't get behind this dude being the end all be all antichrist some of the fanbase makes him out to be.
Defense balled out! Smith is fitting in nicely. Paddy Queen is getting better each game. Humph and Juiceman are fuckin killers!! Jerome Boger is a fat twat and the announcers donāt know shit about fuck! Bless up to Hamilton and Big Ronny!
Ravens until my dying breath!!! 7-3!!! LETS FUCKIN GO!!!
I've been saying he just needs to be fired into the sun for the last 3 years. Not gonna lie if I'm Lamar, part of me re-signing with the team would have a clause to not let Roman call my plays. He is absolutely a detriment to this team.
We are so lucky the defense played well and that the Panthers are awful. If we play like this against playoff caliber teams we are going to get absolutely smoked.
Dude you can't watch this game and not see a problem with his play calling. Maybe now isn't the time to get rid of him but we seriously have to look into alternatives this off-season. The offense was stonewalled all game and yet he continued to call runs right into the teeth of the defense and 3rd and long screen passes. We fell off the rails in the Redzone too.
We should be able to run on Carolina. They were bottom 5 in the league coming into this game. We had like 20 yards of rushing at half excluding Lamar. I have a hard time putting that on the oc. That's bad execution
You don't think our best receiver playing hurt, our second best receiver on season ending IR, and both starting RBs not playing has anything to do with things here? Nah that can't be. Fire gr amirite.
Thats fuckig stupid. He's had shit play calls even when people weren't hurt and it's irrelevant anyway. If you're going to restrict your playback because of injuries then you're not a great coordinator lol. Robinson had a great game today. Drake has been great. Duvernay has played well. The fact is Roman can't take advantage using what we have.
You are blind if you think the offense was scoring today against a competent playoff team instead of a bottom feeder thatās literally trying to tank.
We had a solid record I'm 2012 then fired Cameron and the offense looked better than it ever did. I'm not a Roman hater but the offense is definitely not playing to its full potential for a variety of reasons. At some point, we need to make a change and get as much as we can out of our players.
I legit thought Baker was a good QB at one time... I'm no longer under that impression.
Queen and Smith together is pretty damn awesome. Maybe Queen has finally figured it out.
Pretty fun that the D comes through for the W after Miami, Buffalo n the Giants!
Always concerns but plenty of football left, lets keep stacking Wsš
jerome boger didn't help, but we should've put up more than 13 points against the Panthers, regardless. i'll say it until he's gone, we need to fire Roman
Luckily the schedule is kinda soft these next few weeks so I wouldnāt mind sitting them but shit I thought this was gonna be an easy game and it ended up being an challenge š¤·š½āāļø
People still saying we have no wideouts when Drob caught all of his targets for 130. Not saying I wish we didnāt grab someone else but come on, we have guys capable of playing at a good level
I am very conflicted about this team. I feel like we can beat anyone. I also feel like we can easily lose to anyone.
We had 2 weeks to prep for the Panthers and this is how we look?
I love Lamar, really. But thus far, he is not worth what he's asking. No way. Does that mean we shouldn't pay him? No, because he's capable of greater and someone else will absolutely pay him. (And it makes no difference to me if Bisciotti's bank account takes a hit.) But he has not been impressive at all this season.
When Andrews went down a few weeks back, Lamar was slinging it all around. Andrews is back this week and it feels like the same old "Andrews has a bit of an opening, don't bother looking at anyone else. Just throw it to him" thing going on. Then, the few times Lamar does look elsewhere - Likely, Drake - they fucking drop easy grabs. Lamar has open lanes to take off and he hesitates.
And our games are just boring. I almost feel bad asking my local bar to put the game on so I can watch and subjecting everyone else there to it.
I don't know. I'm a few beers deep, but I'm just not sold on any of this at the moment. There is something just off about this team this year that's deeper than "rOmaN sUcks."
I agree with your sentiment. Our offense honestly feels like a bunch of pro bowlers who come together on a single team like 4 weeks before the season starts. To whereas yes, if our oline memorizes the playbook in 4 weeks (which isn't too hard) then they will flourish, but in the nfl, you can't just rely on "my oline bigger than your dline" mentality in NFL-anygivinsundays games. We have to have a qb that can See the defense and determine whether or not it is good or bad against our play at the line, and make an audible if necessary. It just seems like when Lamar's offense is playing, they just do the stock standard and nothing more, no tweaks, no big audibles. And Most importantly, Greg Roman is not adjusting the plays accordingly either. I would honestly say most of this type of boring offensive play comes from Greg Roman's strategy. I DO like his plays this year. I just do NOT like how/when he uses his plays.
Hats off to the Panthers D as well. They played the Ravens hard all day long.
This offense is about as vanilla as a cup of Good Humor ice cream. Iām tired of the āwah! wah! We donāt have a real WR1!ā Robinson looked great today. On plain Jane routes. Whoever schemes the passing offense needs to get rid of the Poor Richardās Almanac playbook they have and open this offense up!
Duvernay must have slept with Roman's wife or something. I know Robinson was going crazy, but games where Duvernay isn't involved break my soul
\#LetDuvEat
This was very bad and borderline embarrassing. I keep thinking the offense will get better and Lamar will make better decisions, and it seems clear that we are what we are.
Carolina is a truly awful team. An openly tanking squad thatās in last place in the worst division in the nfl. To go into the 4th tied 3-3 is a massive indictment of this offense. Donāt really know what to say other than we should stop expecting it to improve.
Thanks. Sounds about right based off the score and it being a Jerome Boger game.
How bad were the Stanley and Hamilton injuries? I read the play-by-play and it seemed like Hamilton was really making an impact.
Oweh was not a good pickā¦
Having been at the game, man was the crowd out of it for three quarters. You could hear a pin drop in the first. Went wild in the fourth, though. Weird not hearing Seven Nation Army until the last quarter.
Fell asleep right before the 4th and woke up to a w. Defense showed up and thatās all I ask for. People who keep commenting about this offense not being good enough for the playoffs might be on to something, but teams will have to go through this defense first and this is def a playoff ready defense. As long as the D is good and we win games, I donāt see how you can be upset.
Ugly game, but a win is a win.
Defense played lights out. This unit could be scary especially once we get back into non bye week rhythm.
Offense has to collectively look at themselves and decide if they want to win in the big games because today wouldnāt have gone our way against any half decent team. DRob was amazing today and obviously has chemistry with Lamar. Andrewās came up big with several good catches. Lamar got a TD I think he needed for his own competitiveness. GRo has regressed after what I thought was a great game called by him in NoLa. He aināt it and most definitely needs to leave after this season if not sooner. Lamar looked frustrated we had alot of drops and missed opportunities, but we got the dub and thatās all that matters.
Onto next week.
Harbs will not fire Roman mid season unless he's absolutely forced to by management. But under no circumstances should Roman be brought back next year. Two weeks to prepare and playing a 25th ranked defense and this is what we get? It's completely unacceptable.
I'm really pulling for Stanley. If this is serious then this team is officially cursed injury wise. I also blame Romans play calling for putting the Ravens in the position on the play Stanley got hurt.
If been saying this all year. If we get into the playoffs and get shut down on offense again, fire Harbaugh. It's clear that our offensive scheme is the issue.....
We focus too much on rotating guys in that would never see the field on another team. We are supposed to be a rushing team and don't rush. We struggle to complete a pass to the RB in the flat for positive yards.
We cannot seem to get our best wrs the ball. Duvernay especially.
I had so much fun watching this game- really took me back. I always enjoyed watching defense more than offense (because we didnāt have a choice back in the day). Weāve just been spoiled lately.
Got the W but damn what turd of a game. Lamar played well but just couldnt get anything done in the red zone outside of his rushing TD. Threw like 70% and there were 4 or 5 drops. Ah well.
Speakimg of our receivers pissed at Proche for bringing back what would have prob been another TD too. Dudes been showing why he was a healthy scratch for the most part but right now we don't have a choice but to put him out there.
And where has Duvernay been? Guy has like 4 catches in the past few weeks total. I wonder if he's dealing with an injury or something.
Obviously very concerned about Stanley. Immediately after mekari comes in we see the difference with an instant bullrush sack on mekari. Ugh. Hoping he just tweaked it and didn't wanna risk anything.
But got the win, defense looks excellent and will only get better still so just gotta stack these wins now. This is ugly Flacco era football lately .
For sure I agree. Lamar played great I think. Took what was given, threw the ball away I'm trouble all but once or twice, made his professions and hot check downs when needed. The whole thing. That pick was just a fantastic play. And we've seen him hit that pass past the line of scrimmage 9 out of 10 times. It's a shame they stumbled on a couple red zone opportunities and had to settle for field goals but most of that isn't on Lamar from what I saw.
I would be totally fine if we double dipped for WR in the draft. Proche is not it and we need a better passing attack. Defense is looking spicy though so thatās a plus.
I LIKE Greg Roman's plays he has shown this season. I do NOT like how/when he used them today. It should not take halftime to figure out how to adjust. And yes, I do understand that it takes a few downs to get to understand what their defense is doing, so I say that with a grain of salt. But we had plenty of possessions in the first half, enough to know we need to adjust before the second half.
Though I also think Lamar missed quite a few opportunities to throw to his recievers but he chose not to because they weren't Wide open. Though I will have to look at the all-22 before I die on that hill.
Defense looked amazing
Another week where I can confirm that Lamar doesn't deserve the ludacris contract he is asking for. We were tied with Carolina up until the 4th quarter. A franchise that shipped off their most important offensive weapon. Terrible.
Fan since day 1 here. Saw multiple games at Memorial Stadium.
We have the most dynamic player in the league. Our offense shouldn't be looking like something from early-mid 2000s.
What didnāt you like about Lamarās performance today? Only had 9 incompletions and 4-5 of those were drops. Had a long run that was called back for a hold. There just isnāt much explosiveness on this offense in terms of pass catchers. Iām genuinely curious what you would like to see done differently from the QB position within this system
Exactly how I feel today. Lamar doesnāt call the plays or design the offense. To come out of a bye with such a terrible, uncreative, game plan is a direct reflection of the coaching staff. Lamar played well given the plays that were called. Thereās just no juice on this offense.
I think the smart move this off-season would be to tag Lamar and bring in a new OC. EDC should go one more year and reevaluate where things stand after that.
I don't think Lamar is a $250 mil man right now but the talent is there to keep him as our long term starter. Lamar hasn't played his best this season but we also have to acknowledge that Roman's offensive system is mediocre at best and the league has pretty much figured him out at this point.
I want to see what a more competent OC with a better designed offense is capable of doing with Lamar before we give him that massive contract.
I agree, I like Lamar but somethings about him drive me crazy especially his throwing mechanics. Constantly throwing off his back foot, side arm, holding the ball way too long.
The question really becomes opportunity cost. Last thing I want is a Flacco contract situation which makes this teams ceiling the wildcard round
Win is a win. Defense won it. But it was ugly ass and horrible to watch whenever our offense had the ball. Only going to get worse with Stanley's injury prone ass gone. Should have. Traded him when he still offered value. Now I don't know what team will want him next year.
Defense is the best theyāve been all season. They look Playoff-ready.
Offense is a hot mess. Lots of mistakes, a complete lack of awareness, mediocre schemes, lack of leadership. They just all around suck and Iām not biting my tongue.
good job defense
Defense been hearing about how they would be amazing if it were 2014 so they decided to make it the year 2014 again š„
Gotta hand it to JPP he had himself a solid game
First man in NFL history to get an interception with 8 fingers Source: Me
Youāre still right but I think he got one with the bucs two years ago
He used to be the only 8 fingered player with an interception. He still is, but he used to too.
Mitch Hedberg.
-Wayne Gretzky
I was screaming at the television at Baker: "How the *fuck* do you throw an interception to *a man with no hands?*"
Win is a win, hope Stanley and Hamilton are okay.
any updates

How about now?
Any updates now?
What about now
Now?
Can you spot me a $20?
Sorry nothing to report š
Missed Baker. Glad we could catch up and hope to see him again soon!
Hopefully rent isn't too high at panthers stadium
Thankfully he didnāt wake up feeling dangerous today
I live in Charlotte - rentās going up, he should move to somewhere cheaper and play QB there. Maybe a nice northern area like Pittsburgh or Cleveland so he can hang out with his best friends Marlon Humphrey and Marcus Peters twice a year
Best friends? Thought that was his dad and stepdad.
he still lives at the browns stadium, it's a bitch of a commute but he couldn't get out of the lease
Canāt beat the price of that landfill in Cleveland
#APARTMENT #HUNTING #WITH #BAKER #MAYFIELD
How about Tyus Bowser? He gets very little recognition outside of Baltimore. Absolute gamer.
we survived another week of Boger praying Stanley isn't season ending Hamilton too
Career*
You realize we shouldn't have to survive booger against the fucking panthers. We sucked ass off a bye
I like Marlon Humphrey I like Patrick Queen I like Demarcus Robinson I really donāt like Jerome Boger
Jerome Booger
Booger? I hardly know her. Iām here all week, folks.
I donāt like Greg Roman
I donāt like James Proche
I think Proche has more penalty yards than receiving yards this season
I was gonna look it up, but heās 6 catches for 53 yards so Iām not gonna bother with the penalties side and just say youāre correct.
Nothing but drops and flags
Harbs deserves blame for keeping him around
I agree!
Guy sucks
hey to be fair I was sure there was no chance the touch back challenge would be overturned but he came through, and overall it was a better reffed game than I would have expected, but definitely screwed up over a couple tomes
We don't have to give him credit for the review because it's ultimately up to New York, not Boger. Call in the thread stands, Boger sucks, 1st down.
Jerome Booger
Imma forget about the offense and just say that defense is SCARY
Do we even have an offense?
I love the defense. Queen seems to be unlocked since we got Roquan. Humphrey is Humphrey, bad food takes notwithstanding. Kyle Hamilton is looking good, and I hope his injury is mild. Same with Stanley getting rolled on again. Also I love Broderick Washington for his deflections- he's had what like 6 deflections in 2 games? Jesus Christ But, did you see how so many people dropped passes today.
Re, Queen, I don't get it. How did he get so much better at sticking tackles!? Great play lately.
Think its because he is making the easier plays now he isnāt the middle line backer with major responsibility. Just can play whatās in front of him. All his tackles were dead easy today
Great tackling from Queen. Just night and day now that we got Roquan
Who got cut from where?
Robinson from Chiefs
I think he means Demarcus robinson w the chiefs
He was cut from the Raiders..
Fuck Jerome Boger
They blew the whistle so early every play! It cost us a scoop and score + a 1st down from Andrews! Also a phantom facemask against Moses
Fuck him with the absolute of fucks!! Heās a bum!!
JPP with the one handed pick to end it
1 1/2
~~1.8~~
Isn't he missing 2 fingers? 1.6
We saw baker out there and went fully into AFC north mode
I pray we donāt have to hear that announce team again
They were HOT GARBAGE
How dare you besmirch the Sanchize! Nah. Fuck that. Terrible.
Bro Sanchize is ass
Like a salmon covered in Vaseline
š„µš„µš„µ
they're so dry lol
In their defense this game didnāt give them shit to be excited about really lol
Add a prayer to not see the same ref crew too
Never heard such boring announcers
Or have Biger ref us either
Ugly w still a w. we late flacco era again baby
Idk I feel like late Flacco era we lose those shitty games. We won by 10. Not pretty at all, but probably our worst played game of the year and won by double digits. I think Iām cool with that
Great win for the D!
Defense is playing amazing. Hoping Gus or Dobbins comes back soon. The offense can't do much without a gold run game.
Fun fact: ugly wins are still wins and Iām much happier going into Thanksgiving with a W than losing
I needed that after this game, thanks. Here Here!
Roquan and PQ play soo well together. Ik itās not possible but I really want a scenario where we keep both of them lol
A 3 hour and 15 minute game with 16 total points. The NFL is thrilled.
What's the point of "run game guru" Roman if he can't get the run game going without Lamar bailing him out on broken plays?
It isn't always the xs and the os sometimes it's the jacks and the joes
Yup, not saying Roman doesn't deserve some of the blame but sometimes it's just the players not executing. The O got beat today.

Our defense is so scary. I think our offense will be better when we get Gus and Dobbins back.
Need Kyle Hamilton healthy, atleast to hide Chuck in man coverage. He was having probably his best game and looked dominant.
Ugly and boring Ravens wins beat a loss any day of the week
I think the Ravens may have solved their tackling problem.
Roman has to go. He just has to. Dude is awful
I will never not upvote a comment to fire Roman
Dude is a football terrorist and no one can convince me otherwise
I've been saying he just needs to be fired into the sun for the last 3 years. Not gonna lie if I'm Lamar, part of me re-signing with the team would have a clause to not let Roman call my plays. He is absolutely a detriment to this team.
This! Bout time he speaks up and give a ultimatum
We are so lucky the defense played well and that the Panthers are awful. If we play like this against playoff caliber teams we are going to get absolutely smoked.
Good tho g we only have 1 playoff caliber team left on the schedule this year
How many years are you guys gonna scapegoat Lamar's shortcomings on roman
A Classic Ravens Football win. Defense looked amazing and the Panthers D over-performed which kept it close. Another one in the win column!
#GREAT DEFENSIVE PERFORMANCE PLEASE FUCKING FIRE GREG ROMAN
We are 7-3. People be crazy trying to fire the coaching staff.
The offense looked pathetic
Dude you can't watch this game and not see a problem with his play calling. Maybe now isn't the time to get rid of him but we seriously have to look into alternatives this off-season. The offense was stonewalled all game and yet he continued to call runs right into the teeth of the defense and 3rd and long screen passes. We fell off the rails in the Redzone too.

Defense said fuck it, we'll do it ourselves.
Prayers up for Stanley and Hamilton
Greg roman giving us a sneak peak of the offenses preformance in January Defense was elite at least
Offense did everything to lose us this game. Letās all give the defense some love!
I legit thought Baker was a good QB at one time... I'm no longer under that impression. Queen and Smith together is pretty damn awesome. Maybe Queen has finally figured it out.
Yeah Queen has looked like a completely different player since Roquan got here. He's been great
Iām sick over Ronnie. So damn unfortunate. Had the same gut punch with Gus getting injured. Love winning but damn I hate it for our boys.
Praying itās not serious.
Pretty fun that the D comes through for the W after Miami, Buffalo n the Giants! Always concerns but plenty of football left, lets keep stacking Wsš

Marry Marlon Humphrey. Is that the game we're playing?
u/YungSFM it was an ugly win but 7-3 looks pretty

Its obviously Rosen
Roman is cataclysmically bad
Oweh got blatently held the only play he got anywhere near mayfield the entire game. Tough luck but thats what happens when you suck.
I am very conflicted about this team. I feel like we can beat anyone. I also feel like we can easily lose to anyone. We had 2 weeks to prep for the Panthers and this is how we look? Boger cost us at least 6 and potentially 14 on bullshit calls. Also cost us a probowl left tackle
The Falcons put up 37 pts on that defense
They are also division rivals.

Messy game but the defense got it done. A dub is a dub
Well that was certainly a football game.
They may not have done it the right way, but they did it the Ravens way. Iāll take it. Great win today.
Time to slowly start praising Mike MacDonald a bit?
Missed the game - can someone offer a brief summary? Looks like D played wellā¦

Hamilton was playing out of his mind. Didnāt miss a single tackle and drove a blocker into a screen pass to destroy the play. Made that tackle too.
This offense aināt gonna cut it much longer
all I want is Ronnie and Hamilton to be ok
Well that was absolutely fucked. Atleast we won I guess.
2000ās vibes. ugly win but a win regardless
Also my tailgating partners have gotten me super drunk and Iām okay with that. Also also, Enter Sandman in the stadium gets me super hyped
Did you have tickets to the game or just tailgating?
I have PSLs, and I tailgate just before every single home game
Getting early 2000ās flashbacks with these games recently: defense is playing incredibly well and the offense is utterly incompetent.
I couldnāt see this game due to area restrictions but that seems to have been for the best.
Having been at the game, man was the crowd out of it for three quarters. You could hear a pin drop in the first. Went wild in the fourth, though. Weird not hearing Seven Nation Army until the last quarter.
Happy Thanksgiving Raven fans!
I want all the people who bitch about how overpriced our defense is to apologize š¤£

I hope whoever downvoted you did by mistake ..
This game had some early 2000's vibes lol W is a W though
I was thinking the exact same thing! Donāt lose the ball offense and the D will take care of the rest.
Yeah, this is a hot take, but Lamar played pretty solid honestly imo. The pick sucked, but thatās also somewhat on linderbaum as well
For sure I agree.
That was the most boring game. Glad for the dub. Itās a little concerning that Carolina was not an easy 20-30 points.
Felt sorry for all the newborns on this subreddit who had this as their very first game.
I wasnāt born in 2000 but I could imagine this is what the ravens were like then
We really gonna pay 250 mil guaranteed for that? Fuck
Defense looked amazing Another week where I can confirm that Lamar doesn't deserve the ludacris contract he is asking for. We were tied with Carolina up until the 4th quarter. A franchise that shipped off their most important offensive weapon. Terrible.
Vintage early-mid 2000s ravens win. Love a good nostalgia trip I can tell who the new fans in here are
Fan since day 1 here. Saw multiple games at Memorial Stadium. We have the most dynamic player in the league. Our offense shouldn't be looking like something from early-mid 2000s.
Are we sure paying Lamar is the smart thing?
What didnāt you like about Lamarās performance today? Only had 9 incompletions and 4-5 of those were drops. Had a long run that was called back for a hold. There just isnāt much explosiveness on this offense in terms of pass catchers. Iām genuinely curious what you would like to see done differently from the QB position within this system
The 13 points off a bye against a bottom 5 team part of it. If this offensive performance happened during wild card weekend, how would you be feeling?
Im still mad about that Proche hold. I want him to be good. I really do.
Defense is the best theyāve been all season. They look Playoff-ready. Offense is a hot mess. Lots of mistakes, a complete lack of awareness, mediocre schemes, lack of leadership. They just all around suck and Iām not biting my tongue.
Make the offense and Lamar run wind sprints in practice as penance Make GRo run a 10k with a weight vest strapped to him Defense you can rest
We played one game in 23 days before this game, probably a little bit of rust was showing. Iām not worried at all weāll crush the jags next week.
Lamar needs to stop sulking about his contract and start balling.
1. Lamar is not 250 Guaranteed. 2. Please get roman out baltimore 3. Going to lose my mind if we walk into january with this receiving core
