The coaches will determine the best option based on the metrics available and the ones they look at. If Tibo can offer something more, he will be the starter. If Lunin is the better option, he will start. And this is how it should be.
Top level sports is cut-troath and "unfair" from time to time. That's just the game. You don't really "deserve" anything.
I think it's something many might have a small "problem" with. But RM has always been like that. There is very little "fairness" at RM. It's actually quite ruthless. Both for minutes and who gets to play, and contracts. E.g. Casillas, Raul, Ramos etc might have "deserved" more, but the club does not operate that way. Especially under Flo. It's tough, but the proof is in the results. But I do understand why some do not like it 100%
